The Rent Amount initially received was Incorrect for the first 3 months so had to chase/leave Messages each time for the Balance to be Paid. The Owner Michael Molloy promised it would NEVER happen again as he would Sort it personally. However the following month February still wrong - if he can't sort it Who Can? March 2018 was correct but won't Hold Out Breathe lol

Hi John, unfortunately our accounts department paid you promptly but separately, as and when each part of the rent was paid into the Martin & Co client account. As per our Terms of Business, which you signed:- Rent Receipting We ask your tenant to set up a standing order or direct debit mandate for rent payments and we account to you for the rent received, less outgoings and our fees accompanied by a statement delivered by email, within five working days of funds being cleared into our account. Therefor if we had not paid you the funds on account to you within 5 working days we would have been in breach of our agreement with you. We have, as per your request, instructed our accounts department to withhold payments to you until the full rental amount is received and then make payment accordingly. We believe that this issue has been resolved. If this is not the case, please feel free to visit our office on Wanstead high street and we will be happy to assist.

I have had a disappointing experience with Martin & Co. On completion of my 7 year tenancy, I promptly completed the DPS form and released the deposit to the landlord. However a week later, both myself and my guarantor were contacted by the Head of Lettings at Martin & Co Wanstead who said the landlord was growing impatient and threatening legal action. He had failed to check that the funds had already been released and were sitting in Martin & Co’s account, inconveniencing myself, the landlord and my guarantor unnecessarily. Despite the response below, nobody has spoken to me on the phone to explain/apologise/resolve this issue. It’s really disappointing to be treated in this way.

Good Afternoon Billie, I believe our lettings manager has spoken to you on the phone about the issues that you have raised and as you are aware the Landlord had us instructed as a tenant find only 7 years ago, we dealt with your viewing, your references and providing you with the property in question as accepted by the landlord, we do not manage the property, therefore during your 7 year tenancy your correspondence and issues would have been through your Landlord direct. We have already mentioned to you about the deposit and as you are aware this has now been resolved. kind regards Michael Molloy - Business Owner

Mr Ali, Good Morning, If you are who we think you are, we are sorry that you feel this way. However, there were a few issues at the end of the tenancy that necessitated some small deductions from the deposit. Which your Landlord proposed. You disputed these, which is your right. The disputes went to the DPS dispute resolution service for their independent adjudication. They looked at all the evidence provided and ruled in the majority with the Landlord and awarded accordingly. Very unfair to be giving us a 1 star review, this was not our decision but in fact the DPS, I do feel your 1 star review is not justified in this instance and would ask that you either take this review down or at least recognise the impact this has on our business and in response to my reply please consider your review.
