Worst Agency Ever Totally unprofessional Bad bad bad!!!!!

First of all, if I could put no stars, I would! I rented from Northwoods York for a year, and in that year I had 2 house inspections & got excellent both times... now I have left the property they have sent a list with 230 attached photos of how “badly” the property has been treated, listing problems that already existed when I first moved in... now they are taking most of my deposit off me for problems that are either general wear and tear, or so minor that you wouldn’t even notice them, they have gone out of there way to find problems. They took a photo of a plant I had left in the back garden, and are charging me for removal. I would never ever recommend renting from northwoods. Ever!

Would give zero stars if possible the worst experience ever with this company very unprofessional ended up being stuck in a six month contract with them tiles in kitchen where a hazard and didnt get fixed washer broke again took three weeks for them to sort and i constantly had to ring and chase up the staff and put a complaint in after there contractor lied after doing the tiling job wrong and a shody job at that which the landlady wasnt happy with and they blamed us quick to take excessive amount of money but never contact you or sort problems you have been warned people!!

They were proactive throughout the sale of our property but there was a few negatives that unfortunately outweighed the positives. A big selling point in relation to the property which was majorly advertised on Rightmove, Zoopla and the Northwood website etc is that the property had a state of the art sound system built in to each room of the house which we very much liked the idea of. Unbeknown to us and something were not made aware that this sound system did not work! We later got a quote which stated hundreds of pounds to get fixed which is a huge inconvenience when just moving house with costs etc. Also, on the day of moving, we had to sit outside the property for around 4 hours passed the time Northwood advised they would hand over the keys, in the street, in a van. Northwood also made me travel to York to collect as they would not drop these keys off to our new house as they claimed being short staffed on a Friday. The sale of the property was not so bad, but if you purchase a property from these guys, be sure to check everything out first. I have contacted them since in regards to the sound system and a blunt text back stated there was nothing they could do. No customer after care unfortunately.

Terrible service! Avoid! They didn't even show up at a property we were due to view today. The snotty woman In the office was also rude!! Spend your money with another agent!
