Not recommended for Bangor university students looking to move into a shared house. EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 3 star due to services provided during the move out of the house. Our property manager was great at sorting out our deposit, however be careful to ask about landlords before moving into a property, as landlords will try and hustle money out of you. All and all since finally leaving the tenancy we have been particularly happy with the service, and although other Bangor services may be more proficient, this agency provided a good standard when being pressed into doing so.

Mostly satisfactory

I found these agents to be helpful and courteous on the whole. However the gentleman showing the property didn't seem to have much background knowledge on the property. My telephone calls were not always returned and there was some confusion regarding completion with blame passed on to my solicitor when it was more the seller's solicitor's fault after my deposit had been transferred. I greatly appreciated the keys being delivered to their office near my workplace.

Underwhelming. Within a couple of weeks of putting the house on the market, they were suggesting we should reduce the price even though we hadn't marketed it at the top of the price range they had suggested. They said they would come back to take another photo of the front of the house when the weather was better but they didn't, so we had to take a better one for them to use. We mostly had to chase them up for feedback after viewings. We had to get them to amend the basic floor plan to better reflect the layout. The floor plans on many other properties they marketed were fine so we don't know why they didn't just do it properly in the first place. They were very good at telling us what we already knew from our solicitors and implying that they were doing all the work, but then so do most of the other estate agents. We had prepared the property pack ourselves and sent it our solicitors so everything was ready to go for the purchasers solicitor. To round off an unimpressive performance, they overcharged us and we had to get them to correct their invoice for their fees. We have bought and sold 4 properties in recent years and for the little work that estate agents do for sellers, they could do much better.

Hello Chris, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your insights and are sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. Your comments are invaluable in helping us improve our services. We apologise for the inconvenience regarding the photo retake. We strive to provide accurate market assessments and timely follow-ups, and its regrettably you feel we fell short in this instance. We’re committed to ensuring our communication and services meet the high standards our clients deserve. Regarding the floor plan and feedback after viewings, we understand how crucial these elements are in the selling process as you rightly say, this error is unusual for our service and we’re reviewing our procedures to ensure these issues don’t occur in the future. We’re also sorry for the billing error and any frustration it caused. Please rest assured that we’re taking steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to address these matters. We hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future. If there’s anything else you’d like to discuss, please feel free to reach out directly. Warm regards

Hi Tim, as I've seen your reply, I'll give you a rundown: - tried to make me pay the guarantor fees twice over despite only having done the first round 2 months previously and none of the details had changed. - when the internet went down (it was fine for the first few months that I moved in) they said I "should have checked it before I moved in" (like, how?) And offered me a "solution" of paying for my own separate internet connection for an additional £30 a month on top of the £473 I'm already paying despite internet being included in the contract. Grudgingly enquired with Vodafone to see if there was a problem then when it failed to get better did nothing more about it. Got less than 1mbps the entire two years I was there and lost my job (which I conducted remotely) because of it. - landlord showed up without warning, illegally. Visit was not necessary and could have been handled without a visit. Was very awkward and uncomfortable. Felt pressured to let him in. He even commented on how I looked hungover. - passed my number on to the fire alarm company without asking me first - advertising to new tenants that they would fit a washing machine even though they refused us because it's would have to be near the exit and is therefore a fire hazard. - tried to make my dad (guarantor) sign a contract that made him liable for any damage/non payment done by ANY of the tenants, not just by me - gave my flatmate the wrong key and refused to send somebody to the house let her in until the next day so she had to walk all the way back to the estate agent to get it herself despite it being their fault - tried refusing to give my flatmate her deposit back when her tenancy ended, claiming that she hadn't handed the keys in when she had - tried to make us pay a 2nd deposit when renewing the tenancy despite already having one from us from when we originally signed. Claimed they "couldn't carry it over" but backed down pretty quickly when my dad told them he was going to get legal advice before paying it - arranged a house viewing when I was away for the week (which I'm cool with), used a master key to unlock my room and then LEFT IT UNLOCKED - all 4 of us have requested the mailbox be fixed multiple times and six months on it still hadn't been done. - when one flatmate's radiator wasn't working he asked if she had tried bleeding it and told her to try that before doing anything else. The next thing we know we are being spam called by the estate agent to let the plumbers in when we hadn't been told they were coming - harrassed two of my flatmates to come back to the house from their respective countries before the end of june during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC when travel was LITERALLY ILLEGAL.

Dear Abby. Thank you for spending the time in providing a recent Google review. The 2 star rating is below the standard we would expect to provide our customers, and I wonder if you can provide clarity as to why you were not inclined to provide a higher star rating. If you would prefer you can contact me in confidence on tim@tppuk.com. Regards Tim

A lot of repairs could have been done before I moved in to the house I am renting before I moved in. I have had to wait about 5 weeks for them to fix a leaking tap, a broken cupbord, remove lots of rubbish from previous tenant, massiveleaking roof, gap where the window doesn't shut properly in the middle of winter when I have small children, replace carpet which has trip hazards and previous dog smell - they wait til I move in and now I have to take time off work to move everything so they can do the carpet and let contractors in when they should have done this when it was empty along with the other repares they could have done before I moved in. The rent is good it's just a shame a nice house has been neglected. I think if the landlady saw the house as it was when I moved in she would be disapointed.im really hoping to put up the stars on this review over time

Booked viewing for a property yesterday, traveled 2 hours today, wait for 30 mins for the agent to show up and show me the place only to call them myself and find out that the property was sold YESTERDAY! Outrageous service ! Socking communication!

Rude and unprofessional staff , took over 4 months to fix our washer , no communication between departments, genuinely disgraceful response times and attitudes from all staff, I wouldn’t rent from them again or recommend them to anyone no matter how desperate

It was good to have a friendly and constructive meeting with you at the property last week. This enabled us to provide clarity on why it had been necessary for us to carry out regular inspections at the property and the explanation you provided on the current status with the occupiers helped to resolve issues. We trust you will agree that the previous actions taken demonstrates we always aim to provide a professional service and you have a direct contact should you have the need to contact us direct at any time in the future. Regards.
