Your move Bromley are taking deposits and refusing to refund. This is illegal and against the law.
These people are fraudulent. They took my cousin's deposit, led him on a chase and still refuse to refund his money back. PLEASE BEWARE
Bromley branch very disappointed. Leonardo the agent misled us in very unprofessional way , let us down saying that waiting for the credit check company for verification and never emailed that they let the property to someone else and didn't receive holding deposit back. I do not recommend this agency. I, my husband and one year old went for a viewing on Saturday 16th April, the person meant to show us the property did not show up. We proceeded to ask others at the sales suite- if the agency was there and they said they have not seen them. We waited for 40 minutes and continually called the agency and no one answered. Fast forward to today and we have been told the man was there and he waited for 15 minutes outside the property- so he was there, we were there and everyone else is somehow mistaken. Anyway no real apology or any resolution to the issue to ensure this doesn’t happen again if we were to try and view again, quite disappointed. Reply to your move: No Your Move Bromley you certainly was not there and one thing I really dislike is the constant lying. Number one, there is a sales suite so why wouldn’t you wait there if you were supposedly there. This was the first place we went and asked for the person we were meant to meet, both people said they had not seen anyone from Your Move the whole day and they also said this is not the first time this has happened to people coming to view with this particular individual. You are unable to give a real apology and ensure such a thing won’t happen again, and give excuses upon excuses. We would have been happy to come back and view as long as we had certainty this wouldn’t happen again- like a contact number (I’m not sure why you don’t distribute work mobiles but, that’s another conversation). My family have gone on countless viewing and we have never had an issue with someone not turning up- utterly ridiculous. I actually give them a -1 review now.

I had an awful time with this company regarding me leaving a property. I had many issues with my flatmate and was told via my landlords I should go through the tenancy agents (yourmove) to get back my deposit. All together with a security deposit ( totalling £1211). I have evidence of all the money I put in and was told by today- the 25th of March 2022 that I would be signed off ( by my flatmates consent ) from the tenancy and get the deposit I am owed back. Coming upto today I have been emailing and calling Matthew Coffey for the past few weeks to make sure everything was gine to go ahead as I paid my rent early and judt wanted to get out earlier. I have been ignored this whole time. Only text messaged i got where today to tell me that i should try and get the money back from my flatmate! Yourmove are aware of all my issues with my flatmate,of the police involvement and the want for me to leavw as soon as possible with the money i am owed. He tried to shrug all responsibility of the money I am owed back onto my flatmate ( as I went halves on our 2000 deposit and sent it through her he believed she owed it back to me!) Without this money I am looking at becoming homeless as this deposit money is going towards a new flat. Without it I have nowhere to live and will be signed off without any money going forward as my flatmate has tried to claim she owes me nothing ! I can't stay at the property as my flatmate and her friends have repeatedly threatened me and made my life very difficult since December last year. Yourmove are aware of the issues ans still believe I could somehow talk to this very difficult tenant /flatmate and try and get my money back ! I also do not know how she wasn't evicted for her behaviour! I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND MATTHEW COFFEY OR YOURMOVE TO ANYONE WISHING TO BUY, LET. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST ASKING FOR ANY SERVICES EITHER. Sorry if any of the screenshots aren't in order. I showed many bankstatements, the timing and the amount. And he claims it is not enough proof now to show it was for the deposit! Even though it shows I sent it the same day my flatmate sends in the money together with her half- same account aswell! Also I have been told by my new letting agents I shouldn't of had to wait for her consent for my to leave! So I have spent over 2 months paying for rent in somewhere I couldn't have left months ago !
I will not be looking for a rental with YourMove again. I have had to give my notice in for my property where I live in order to get a landlord reference. The landlord backed out last minute, the second property, I had to call numerous times in order to find out the property might not even be on the market any longer. My property has now been taken by another future tenant. I had a viewing today and have dragged my sister all the way from West London who has cancer to view it with me. Once I have arrived at the property I was told that the landlord no longer wants it on the market and the price has been increased. You have really messed me about and put me in a situation where I may be potentially homeless. I will definitely not recommend YourMove to anyone as you have put me in a vulnerable situation, only to benefit you. They will tell you they will ‘call you right back’ and will never call you back. No matter how many times you call an agent, their colleagues will cover for them and say they’re not in the office for the day and not long after they will answer the phone themselves. They will never respond to your emails either. Don’t waste your time, effort and money with this agency. Would love to give 0 stars. I’m sure, no one from YourMove will respond to this.
