VERY DISAPPOINTING, UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL We had an appointment to view a flat in Bromley. We arrived a little early. After around 20 minutes no one showed so I called to find out what's going on. I got through first and spoke to an assistant and seemed to be hung up on. Tried again and eventually got through to the sales team. He told me that we were in the book as miscellaneous (no details), no contact number and just my name. He told me it looked as though they had forgot (or had no intention to show up) and gone to another appointment nowhere near my location. He said he would contact the agent and let me know. I was with my partner, her father and my young child. We waited there for almost an HOUR!!! To be fair to the sales member he apologized, however we did not get a call back and obviously decided to leave. To this day I have not heard back from them. No explanation and no apology. I don't know how their database works but I had contacted them a number of times regarding this flat and others and left my details so I can't see how they didn't have my phone number. Its utterly unprofessional and very disappointing. Unfortunately they are holding the keys (literally) and it may be unavoidable to deal with them in future which saddens me. But if possible I would avoid dealing with this agency.
Awful agents to rent/let from, avoid like the plague
The most unprofessional,inept and fraudulent estate agents you could ever wish to do business with. Had the very worst experience dealing with them and would urge anyone thinking about doing business with them to seriously rethink their decision. Even their head office is a nightmare to have to deal with. Really the worst people I have ever had the misfortune of having had to deal with. Stay clear if you value your money and sanity!
I don't think Your Move have let properties before. On top of the extortionate fees, there is a poor service. Our property was fully managed, but we have had to pay for extra keys to be cut for them. When moving out, they failed to get an itemised invoice for damages, so disputed charges were not easily resolved. On settling on an amount, the incorrect deposit amount was returned as other payments for fees had been lost within their systems.
Incompetent and very slow. From a tenant perspective be warned and from a landlord perspective I would choose elsewhere.
Avoid like the plague. Extremely slow at carrying out basic maintenance issues. Not helped by a landlord who isn't bothered either. The property at Mill Vale in Bromley has been a nightmare to rent. We've had the worst mould, and when I was due to give birth (Nov 2017) I really wanted it sorted out. Nothing was done. It got worse, still nothing. Baby is 3 months at this point. Many emails and months later (July 2018) we finally get a response and someone comes out, but after that we heard nothing. We've finally had enough and hand in our notice, now September, and we get a call from the agents advising the landlord will be sending some to deal with the mould at 8am on a Tuesday morning. I kindly ask if they can do after 10am as my husband will be getting ready for work and the baby will still be asleep, so the rep from Your Move Bromley said she will try. I get a call back less than 2 minutes later saying the landlord said no it has to be 8am, as it is a matter of urgency and we basically have no choice in the matter. It is only now a matter of urgency as a photographer will be coming round on Tuesday to take pictures of the property. Such disgusting behaviour from both the landlord and agents. Our landlord has a young child and I'm very sure she would not have let her child live in such conditions. If I could upload the pictures with this review I would! Avoid Your Move and avoid this property.
Had an appointment booked as I had a flat to let. Your Move had my home phone and mobile contact numbers. Travelled 30 minutes to the flat and then waited. 15 minutes after the appointment time I phoned Your Move ,the call went to answer machine so I phoned again 10 minutes later and this time left a message. 20 minutes later I was phoned and told that the person I was due to meet had had an emergency. I sympathise if this was truly the case but surely someone should have checked his appointments diary and have contacted me. I have had to award one star in order to post this! We have chosen a different agent and will not trouble Your Move again.
