I would not recommend you do business this company. The instructions they gave me have disadvantaged me financially and they're now refusing to offer any form of compensation. I understand that we all make mistakes but the fact that they're refusing to reimburse my losses shows that they have a low level of accountability to others and ethics. AVOID IF YOU CAN.
I am sorry to say this but I applied with them for a house and I asked them be4 to apply will i receve my money back if I won't go thru they say yes but didnt and they don't know what they are doing . I had to talk with the people from homelet to check the references and to call them back i went to they're office like twice and they didn't know what to tell me regarding the house i applied for . Is like nearly 2 months now and I didn't hear any thing from them did I recevet the house or not . I still called a few times and they didn't answered . After took 400 £ from me that's what I deserve apparently. Really not serious people there i won't recomand after my experience
I am not into leaving bad reviews but I've felt the hand of unfairness with this company, I was warned too. Long and short of it I was assured we could apply for a property (One of us has good credit, the other not so good). Viewed the property Friday and assured of contact back the same afternoon with the relevant forms the same day, no reply. I chased Friday afternoon, as of Saturday still no reply. This morning Martin & Co's automated system requesting feedback from the viewing was more punctual than Magdalena, the letting agent. She claims she was out on viewings hence not contacting me, what she forgets is I placed a business card in her hand on Friday meaning she could have just picked up the phone, not responding to someone is totally unprofessional, and laughable when the automated emailing system beats you to it. We are now told we cannot even apply even though she assured us we could on Friday, this company is not punctual or professional, clearly makes promises they can't keep, and had I not responded on the automated system I can guess I wouldn't have heard back. Joke really! Wouldn't recommend and avoid where possible.

starting at the beginging - they messed up the moving date - promised to fix the hole in the wall before we moved in (plot twist its been two months and its still there) - Informed them the washing machine leaked as there was a chunk missing out the seal before we moved in and this was only resolved recently - boiler broke got someone to look at it was given temporary fix till they got the part this was all just in the first month but it brings me to this weekend when the boiler broke (because they never fixed it). so today the plumber came round and we recived an email after I rang about 5 times but apparently property management weren't answering and the person on the phone couldnt walk across the office and find out why (this was the actually excuse given) anyway i digress, in the email they stated that the landlord gave the go ahead (which already had been given a month ago to fix the issue) but the part will be 4 days for an emergency problem that they knew about (from a month ago). so after reciveing this I rang since the property manager just emailed meaning they were there but still no answer (Suprising I know) i eventually got someone saying the out of hours team would call me back, this was at 5pm its now 1 in the morning. oh and when I asked what the number for this team was (as I was losing faith at this point strangly) they jist dodged the question. I'm now currently waiting for there reply to my follow up email tomorrow. But if you cant be bothered to read all this the main points to take away are that you should go literally anywhere else but this branch if youre renting in doncaster.

LANDLORDS-AVOID THIS LETTINGS AGENCY I think the best words to describe martin and co in doncaster is incompetent and unprofessional, they have cost me thousands and a massive headache to sort out when i moved my business to another lettings agency in donny, the owners son described me as a charity case and was extremely arrogant and dismissive when i called to request some basic information such as why are you not collecting the rent from my tenants, it was clear that they could not be trusted to manage my properties, constantly fobbed me of with false information and did not carry out any property checks. If you are a landlord in donny and looking for a letting agent avoid this one they are inadequate to perform the task as lettings agent and sub-standard in the service that they provide. BE WARNED - KEEP AWAY
They constantly lie and make things up, they'll do anything in their power to keep your bond. They even have a 'Moving Out Fee'!! I've never come across a FEE TO MOVE OUT before, it's absolutely insane. They're trying to keep our bond, which I accept would not come back in full as the living room had stains on the carpet and curtains, but they're claiming that they want more money out of us even though they know that I'm on disability benefits and my partner is pregnant. They're a disgusting bunch of people.
