We couldn't be more positive about our experience with Nicholas Humphreys, and Robbie in particular who dealt with our property. We recently used Nicholas Humphreys to sell our existing property and found the process very quick and simple. We found them very professional and always at hand to answer our queries, as it was the first time we had sold a property we had quite a few questions and nothing was too much trouble. Our house was sold very quickly and we were kept informed of every development the whole way through. Excellent service from start to finish. Couldn't be happier or recomend more highly. I was thinking about giving 1 star but Audrey is nice and patient. Hence one of employees is not that great to be honest. I don’t know if he treats me bad is based on my race or he just treats everyone this way. I didn’t have a nice checking out experience with this agent but I didn’t want to waste too much time, so I had to spend more money. At first he wanted to charge me a lot for some damage made by natural and definitely not by people. After arguing and stating a clear explanation, I did have some reduction. The most important point is, after moving out, as I left my router there, paying extra fees of two months, I connected him to reach out to the new tenants to check when they have time so my friends could fetch it for me, ignoring the fees. After sending him two emails, he never replied. I wonder why this post service can be trash like this. Students don’t need to spend time and money here. Some employees say things in different ways which may confuse you and they may ignore you after your renting period is over. I will never recommend!!

If you are able, please can you report the specific issues you experienced to our Director, Robbie Bell at robbiebell@nicholashumphreys.com? He can take you through our complaints procedure if required. Our team is trained to treat all individuals with dignity and respect and we apologise if something transpired that did not meet this standard. We never like to make deductions from any tenant’s deposit and only aim to do so where damages beyond fair wear and tear exist. Having just gone through our email history with you, we are confident there was thorough written communication about the repair that would be required, particularly after a large dog was found to be living at the property without prior permission. Unfortunately, this required some minor repainting and thorough cleaning of dog urine spots and waste left around the house, which I can see was both negotiated and signed off by yourself. Tenants must also ensure any bills they have set up have been closed off with their provider and that routers have been removed from the property at move-out. We are sorry you did not have the best experience with your move-out, but hope there is some understanding as to why we need to recommend deductions for damages at the end of a tenancy.

The whole experience was horrible. If you want to be treated like a money bag rent with them. Message to all students Do Not Waste your time.

I cannot recommend staying away from these managers more strongly. Tenants are treated like numbers, not humans. Edit after reply: I think your reply exemplifies your lack of awareness with dealing with personal information about your clients.

If I could give zero stars I would. This estate agents is beyond poor. My housemates and I are second year university students and already we have had to live with mould growing in our rooms, covering clothes and furniture that we have had to throw away. we lived like this for 3 months and became ill with colds, Nicholas Humphreys were extremely unsympathetic and rude to us making us think it was our fault and normal to be living in cold, damp conditions when in fact it was a structural housing issue that caused condensation in rooms and mould to grow. this situation was sorted out after 3 months. secondly we have been living for over a month now with no wifi. there was no fast attempt to resolve this and again began blaming us, only after 3 weeks were we given a 4G box however this ran out after a few days meaning as uni students we couldn't do our work at home and we were using a lot of money on 4G. I can't put into words how awful this place is. for the amount of money we are paying as students I cannot believe they are treating us like this. DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE.

As you’ll know, the Managing Director and Lettings Manager have already met with your household about all of the concerns you’ve raised, including supplying and paying for your household’s 4G device while BT was down, and organising for a contractor to look for any structural issues at the property. You’ll also know that the landlord organised for a professional cleaner and had a PPU/PIV anti-condensation unit installed in January after the contractor was unable to find any structural issues that were causing condensation. As we've had very positive communications with your other housemates around these issues, we would like to better understand if there is something in particular we can support you with that you feel has not been resolved. We’re happy to speak on an individual basis if you prefer.
