I rented a house in Westgate through Miles & Barr for just over 6 months. The elaborate online process at the start of the tenancy took me by surprise and felt very onerous, but in fact it protected me as well as the landlord. I just wish I'd been warned to expect it! The house had been empty for a number of months and numerous defects showed up over time. Melissa Francis was terrific throughout, negotiating on my behalf with a not too helpful landlord, and making sure everything got fixed and also at the end managing the return of my deposit. I am very grateful to her for her expertise and support.

Overall good experience. However the communication can be improved immensely. Perhaps have an online sales tracker where the agents can update comments etc. and no need for phone calls to get status updates.

Everyone was very helpful and communicative. I found Becky's bi-weekly updates especially helpful and her work to get us a removals firm when all were booked was much appreciated!
