They are not stellar in the service they have provided. Still waiting for furniture and internet one month after moving into flat. continually promise that things will be done and not keeping them. I would not rely on what they say they will do.

Well, had massive problems about deposit, well at the start of the tenancy there was issue with the damp which called multiple times, not much was done, at the end lost all £900 deposit, gutted. They said its our fault, how ?! When dealing with deposit already three months in not an answer. Will pick up any smallest pull on carpet, take photographs before to prove them wrong.

As a parent of one of martin and co's tenants I found the whole thing from start to finish a total fiasco, unfriendly, unhelpful and a total waste of time. Staff unreliable, never return phone calls, the so called property manager Mr Gondal is about as useful as a wet tissue with false promises of calling back which never happened and trying to put a complaint in to who ever is the owner is an impossible task as you are met with a frozen blockade. This company is a total waste of time, posh offices but a second rate service, dont trust them and especially dont leave a bond as you have no chance of getting it back, im sure there is something untoward going on with monies here? Stay Away and go to a trustworthy letting agent.

Simply the worst estate agent I've come across. Upon moving into the property, there were a number of issues, including: broken boiler, broken front door lock, a leak, broken washing machine, broken French door lock. The property was also unclean and the inventory was years old. Clearly they did not care for the state of the property when someone moved in, but were more than happy to make arbitrary deductions to the deposit when I moved out. Not only that, but the staff were utterly hopeless, unhelpful and failed to answer calls (let alone get back to you). My experience with Martin & Co was an exhibition in property mismanagement. I would urge all tenants and property owners to stay away from this parasitic business.

I had one of my worst experience with this office in Leeds. The reasons are as follow: 1. chaotic staff, each time when you call , the person you want to speak with is not there, and when you leave him or her a message they will never call you back. 2. the staff communication continue to be poor as they will never replay to you by e mail. 3. the staff show no compassion to your problem and each time you call it take them ages to sort out any problem for you even small problem 4. No matter how you are going to clean your flat when you are going to leave it , as they will always relay in small unimportant issues to deduct money from your deposit in order to make a deep cleaning to the flat from your money( even if you live in the flat on your own like my self). with the above issues i took me 2 months to fight to get my deposit back( of course i have to accommodate with deposit deduction as i will never get my deposit back. as a result I would advise every one to avoid dealing with this office.
