We had a viewing booked on a property in chalgrove 2 weeks ago - we had arranged childcare and were on our way to the viewing to then receive a phone call from the branch saying the viewing was cancelled as the property was already under offer and had been for over 2 weeks - when I asked why they accepted our viewing request they couldn’t give me an answer. Over the next couple of days I phoned up multiple times about visiting other properties they were listing, and was always told “I’ll get someone to call you back”. Never heard anything. Would absolutely avoid this estate agency. Totally unreliable and unprofessional and wasted lots of our time. Luckily we’ve found a gorgeous new home with another agency

Poor service from estate agents who do not bother to arrange viewings and when you get to finally speak to one, they're quite rude on the phone. I do not recommend.

The worst experience I ever had!!!! I view the flat, had to travel all the way there to check, but I was happy because I liked it. I said that I will take it, I spent 4 days filling different forms, making “rent passport”, going through the checks and only when I started to ask how my application is going they said that someone else rented. Really?? I refused going for another viewings, I refused applying for other flats that I saw from another agencies!!! I would never ever recommend this place!!!!

My review is specific to the lightwater branch. Bad mannered, unprofessional and incompetent are the words I would use to describe the staff. They found me buyers back in June who have still not signed their contracts along with the buyer at the bottom of the chain. There are 4 others in the chain above and we have all signed and are ready to exchange contracts. The managers have not replied to the last 2 emails I sent asking them to get this resolved. The whole process since signing up with them has been far from satisfactory. Wrong price on the house, wrong details and a complete disregard for me as a customer. The manager, in particular, seems to think it is beneath her to deal with customers once they have signed up. I have never dealt with a company before who refuse to answer emails from their customers. My job involved dealing with estate agents and in 15 years I never came across behaviour like this. I wish I never signed up with them.

Our property was taken on by Paul Bosanko after he came round 2nd November. After receiving forms we gave verbal consent 6th November and signed forms were returned 11th November. 12th November I received the ID check call Then nothing.... Chased 6 days later (18th November ) for the next steps and a photographer had not even been booked yet! Chased Amber again 20th. Managed to get one out the following day and finally, and chased on 30th as to why it was not online yet. 1st December our property was on the various selling portals... just shy of a month after I verbally confirmed instruction ! They also spelled my name wrong, despite me signing the end of every email with it spelled correctly! Called for a video tour to be done and Adele came out to do it, but it was never used 🤷‍♀️ 7th December I chased Paul about a board. No reply. 28th December chased again. Still no reply. Received a call to drop the price £25k on 7th Jan and agreed. Automated emails followed. Still no board. 29th January Louise from head office calls, I ranted about my issues and the fact the branch (Camberley) were ignoring me and she managed to get a board and said she would rearrange the advert to make it more appealing. So the photo order was changed. That’s it. Board arrived a couple of days later. 5th Feb FIRST VIEWING! Saw on the security cameras that they were inside for 3 minutes! Unless they sprinted round I don’t see how they saw the whole house! Received automated feedback and have not managed to speak to a person since then, and today is 13th Feb! To say I’m unimpressed and an understatement!

We had the worst renting experience in the UK. Chancellors agency lied to us for getting a few stuff done in the flat before signing the contract, they never discussed those things with the landlord, we signed the contract and moved in and the flat was not professionally cleaned and not freshly painted as stated in the contract. They didn’t care about these problems saying it’s landlord fault and letting us to deal with the problem. On top of it at the beginning of the conflict they seemed to take our part asking the landlord to respect the contract but after a phone call between the landlord and manager Riley Drake-Smith they changed their mind and jump on the landlord side (who breached the contract) advising us if we don’t reach an agreement with the landlord to search for a new property. So because of the agency and their dishonest actions, in full pandemic, before Christmas, we had to search for a flat and move again, even though we’ve just moved to that property. So they didn’t care about us one second and they think it’s a normal thing to move house every month just because of their poor services, lies, unprofessional and dishonest behaviour. I would not recommend to anyone this agency. The whole experience was a nightmare.

Waiting over a week for a viewing when I am a cash buyer is unacceptable. So is insisting on a BAFO on one house today and not enabling me to view the possible alternate. Staff have little or zero knowledge of the house you are viewing. All In All very very frustrating !!

Your company overcharged me. The outstanding amount was £91.20 but I calculated as £61.18 so the difference is approximately £30. It's not the amount that I'm concerned with, but how you deal with your customers. It's not right that you agree a fee with me then go back on your word! You didn't reply to my email and sent another invoice demanding £91.20 without disputing my calculation which was agreed with your letting management! Not replying to my calculation and then threatening me with legal action is absolutely disgraceful, so this review is justified.
