Property Purchase

I found the initial viewing period with Martyn Gerrard very easy and professional, with dates and times confirmed promptly. My contact Heran Jethwa would provide a quick follow up on properties I viewed and followed up on questions with the vendors. I was also pleased that he would inform me of properties as they came up that met my requirements e.g certain roads and areas. Even when Heran was on annual leave, another contact at Martyn Gerrard was able to move things forward for me, such as organising access for the surveyor. I felt my experience from acceptance of the offer to completion was relatively quick and straight forward. There were a couple of small bumps along the way which was not surprising as we had a small chain, however Heran was excellent at keeping in touch letting me know what was happening and liaising between myself and the rest of the chain, and particularly moving things forward as we approached exchange, keeping me informed of any delays and the reasoning behind things, which was incredibly helpful!

Really helpful in helping us find a buyer in a tough market

After we had experienced issues with a previous agency, Heran was really helpful in taking over and helping us find a buyer (and then another buyer after the first one fell through due to reasons outside of our control). He was easy to deal with and was great at keeping us up to date with viewings, potential offers etc. Since accepting the offer, Heran was able to manage the process with the buyer to ensure everything happened on time so that we could exchange. Due to delays with our onward purchase we needed Heran to work hard to ensure we didn't lose our buyer as we waited for things to sort themselves out and he did just that.
