Avoid them - the worst agents I’ve used. They are passive and unwilling to deal with substantial property issues. Their responses will take you in circles and falsely pass the buck on to tenants. They are also disorganised - arranging things last minute and losing property keys. There are far better agents out there.

I had a very disappointing experience with ''Satnam Kaur'' as my letting agent. Unfortunately, she consistently failed to meet expectations throughout the process. Firstly, Satnam was often unreachable. Many of my calls went unanswered, and there was little to no follow-up on important matters. On the rare occasions she did pick up the phone, she would assure me that the task would be completed within 15 minutes, but this promise was never fulfilled. This lack of communication and follow-through caused significant delays and frustration. If you happen to have Satnam Kaur handling your letting agreement, be prepared for a challenging experience. Good luck!

Only call these bunch of muppets if you need some clowns for a kids party. Absolute jokers. They Go around acquiring other estate agents like no ones business but I wouldn't trust them to run a bath. Avoid!

Impossible to get anyone to speak to or return my calls/ voicemail. There are a couple of properties I'm interested in renting but nobody has got back to me for a week despite leaving several messages. Landlords be aware of this. Your potential tenant cannot view your property due to ineffective letting agent

We used John Shepherd to rent out our flat and I have to say the service and professionalism was diabolical. Literally, nothing was done right! They couldn't even get the address for the property correct, despite us updating them with the details several times. The checks they did on the tenants caused significant delays (the don't chase anything up) and I ended up getting the responses myself. They didn't ID the tenants correctly, without being prompted by us first. They also didn't adhere to the correct licencing requirements which is a legal requirement for our area. The issues were flagged to them and the complaint was escalated, but they couldn't even refund the correct amount that was agreed. They told the tenants it was us being difficult, rather than admitting to their own mistakes! The tenants also had issues when dealing with John Shepherd, so thankfully they knew where the problems really stemmed. We will not use again and do not recommend.

Dissappointed with the service received from the agent Satnam. A week before entering the property we were promised the property would be clean and move in ready. After all the stressful paperwork online which is not user friendly we managed to finish all needed documentation. We received our keys only to find the property in the same state as when we viewed it. Pipes licking, house not cleaned, papers all over the floor, cupboards not painted well just to state a few. Went to the office to complain and air out our grievances and their response was their hands were tied and nothing they could do. They couldn't even promise us when the house would be cleaned and move in ready. Mind you at this point the rental has been paid already and they don't know when the property will be cleaned for us to move in. Extremely disappointed 😞

I don't think anyone actually works in this office as I've called several times over a few days now and no one ever answers the phone. I don't think they are interested in letting properties due to low commission but rather answer the phone if its to do with buying or selling a property as they get commission. Typical commercial letting agent don't care about people but they care about commission.

Shocking service I've never known a company to let me down so horrifically I will never use these people ever again

Following on from my Tenant. (We have tried to contact our property manager Hana, for the past month over 20 times via email, and call separately by both occupants of the apartment, but have had no response, absolutely, disappointing. We have established that we are being ignored now and sometimes our calls are declined only after a couple of Rings. We cannot find a senior contact for this branch, to escalate to so have had no choice but to post this review in hopes someone will finally reach out and acknowledge us as paying tenants. Our property manager is Hana of the Nottingham branch and maybe after this we will finally be acknowledged). This case is either shockingly poor mismanagement and or just straight up bad communication with clients/tenants. The hand over process of gaining a balcony which had been promised in September of a December deadline and its “rapidly coming to completion” . Now it’s April and we are still waiting for access and now can’t get communication with apartment management .
