Colin is a great estate agent, providing a great service in selling my home. He answered all questions I asked of him very well, and kept the chain moving whenever a little 'push' was required. He also made himself available to me any time I needed anything, even in evenings or on his days off. I have no hesitation in recommending Colin to anybody looking to sell their home.

Great service provided by Colin and Chris at Northwood Peterborough. The buying process was very simple, quick and efficient and any questions I had were responded to promptly I had issues with my solicitors and the sellers solicitors and when I advised the guys at Northwood of this they assisted me by chasing and pushing the solicitors too to ensure we got it all completed ASAP Highly recommend Northwood Peterborough

Went above & beyond to get the job done

Colin was acting for the sellers for a leasehold property on a managed 60+ estate which my elderly mother bought, There were 3 solicitors involved, 2 of which should rename themselves 'Procrastinate & Dawdle' and 'Jobsworth & Delay'! Thankfully Colin stepped in and emailed all interested parties in plain English to bash some heads together, cut through the jargon and get things moving, not once or twice but numerous times. He went above and beyond to keep things moving and to keep the chain from falling through which looked perilously close at times., meanwhile the estate agent we'd employed to sell our house did virtually nothing and if anything seemed to get an education in 'how to get the job done' by Northwoods. Every person I spoke to at Northwood were friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them - or recommend them - in the future.

In April/May of 2011 I was on the hunt for another property to rent; having rented previously for two years with a company I shall not name, I wasn’t looking forward to the experience again but alas there was not much else I could do. Then along came Colin and Northwood, my nerves about renting again were put at ease and I was treated like a human and not just a money making ‘thing’ they have to deal with. Suffice to say I signed the paperwork for said property and lived happily for 6 and ½ years renting through Northwood, both Colin and Mathew were mainly my go to guys during my renting period and I never really had any issues and if I did they were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. It just so happened that when my Landlord decided he wanted to sell in September of 2016 I was offered first refusal; I had thought about buying and had spoke to my landlord two years previous about said situation but it wasn’t until last year that things became real and I had to make a decision. I had a good relationship with my Landlord and even though Colin technically worked on the behalf of my landlord during the sale he still helped me tremendously in my decision making and expertise. Some people like me are not well versed in property buying and being a first time buyer having as much input from individuals with in-depth knowledge into such things can be an integral part of the process. In the end all parties were extremely happy with the outcome and the hard work of Colin and the team at Northwood Peterborough really did show though. I would quite happily recommend both Northwood for renting purposes and specifically Colin for any Sales/Purchases, though not for myself any time soon hopefully!

Polite, professional, helpful.

Colin and team were polite and professional from the first meeting right through to some post sale enquiries. Colin dealt promptly with all parties to the sale making the process move ongoing as smoothly and quickly as possible. In a competitive market questions are often raised around using a traditional estate agent, but for me these have all been answered. In the same circumstances I would certainly use Northwood again.

perfect tenancy

I've been 1 year and a half with Northwood Peterborough Ltd and I strongly recommend them to the new tenants. During all the stages of my tenancy they have been nice, helpful and they reply to my email in the same day most of the time. Comparing them to other letting agencies they have lower fees. Moreover at the end of tenancy they return me the full deposit without any arguments. Thanks in particular to Colin, Kayleigh and Jill.

Great and prompt service, reasonable fees

The staff at Northwood have always been very helpful and prompt in dealing with any problems or queries. I have rented accommodation with their help for a year and have been very satisfied with their service.
