The only thing they did well was take their fee. Several mistakes on their behalf and no communication. Awful experience

Shocking!! Just under £500 fee's for a single rental. DO NOT USE!!!

Tenant review; Poor. Never once did an inspection in 15 months due to cancelling or pretending it was never booked. Messed us around a lot. The only estate agent to try and charge us after the initial 12 months to renew the contract, £90 to print a piece of A4 paper. Luckily the landlord was happy for us to continue a rolling contract. No notice to move out given, we found out when a for sale sign was banged up outside at 6am!

It seems to be a relatively common problem for people to have to deal with this Estate Agency.. and i am in the same situation. Above all the lack of interest is the most annoying.

What a shame this greedy company wrote recently to all its landlords to suggest they put the rent up on their properties, and capitalize on the fact that renters will pay in the current market. Renters in Bristol at feed up with being done over by bad letting agents, extortionate rents, poor quality housing. Big estate agents like CJHole must set a fair example and stabilize the market rather than exploit tenants who are already at the limit of what they can afford.

CJ Hole destroyed my spirit to such an extent that I barely have enough left to write this review. Here are some of my favourites, or at least as many as I'm able to write before the last of my remaining, withered soul has drained away... - They straight up lied to us, several times. - There is literally no communication between the staff members. - We had to ask/remind/hassle them repeatedly for just about everything, unless it involved us giving them money (then they were unsurprisingly efficient). - They missed appointments without giving notice - The ceiling in our house was literally, actually, falling down and they did nothing. - The person you need to speak to? Oh sorry no, they're not available. - Hidden charges. - Deceptive contracts. - Unhelpful. - Rude. - Can't count. - Pretty sure one of them was wearing his dads suit. - Shouty woman upstairs - Spotty

I attempted to rent a property through Cj Hole Southville approximately 18 months ago. Never again. Full of unprofessional youngsters who have no real experience of letting properties and only have a job because of the housing crisis in Bristol. Any idiot can show somebody a flat and these ones struggle with that. They can afford to be flippant, miss appointments, charge crazy fees and generally not give a f*** because of the state of the market. Also as an added bonus they flood my home with flyers telling me to use them!!!!!!!! I tried on three occasions to view a flat with them, leaving work early on one occasion and none of the times did I gain access through their combined incompetence. Have recently used the CJ Hole in Bishopston and they were a very much different experience and I write this review so others may see that not all of the CJ Hole agents in Bristol operate in the same manner. I also believe this was the CJ Hole branch who sent multiple letters to their landlords telling them to increase their rent...... Lovely practice
