This is my third experience of working with Maddisons Residential and they are consistently efficient and professional. More than this, they bring a friendly personal approach to their work. Deborah's knowledge of the market is exceptional and she has always advised us well, in addition to being able to facilitate things to ensure we were able to secure the house we wanted and sell ours quickly. Where she comes into her own though is when inevitable bumps appear on the road - she can swiftly work with all parties to ensure the process progresses smoothly. Maddison’s has excelled throughout our house selling process, from the prompt response to our property valuation request, the excellent advice on how to set out the house for potential buyer visits, the production of a professional video walk through, the knowledgeable and enthusiastic representatives who hosted the visits, the guidance and support through the offer process, to the follow through and weekly updates post the offer acceptance. Our initial impression that they offered a service that was different and superior to the other agencies we approached has proved to be the case. I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Maddisons Residential. I did not consider any other Agent in TW, when I first began to explore putting my apartment for sale in November with a January launch date in my mind. Within hours of my visit to their Pantiles Office, I was contacted by a Director, who made an appointment for her visit the next day. Another Director visited the day after with suggestions on decluttering (!!) and how to prepare for the photo/video shoot, which was arranged during this visit for a few weeks away in early December. The photo/video shoot was painless and in fact I quite enjoyed it. Launch took place on 2 January, offers were made after the first weekend and another Director was involved in discussing with me the offers made and my responses, making me feel in very capable hands. One the agreement for sale had been agreed by me and my Buyer the Sales Progression team are the primary point of contact. The two person team are fantastic and provided weekly updates of how the chain was growing in both directions (!!) and when it was necessary in the later stages, worked with my solicitor and other Agents to find out the real story behind NO PROGRESS somewhere in the lower and upper chains. When difficult decisions needed to be made about withdrawing or setting explicit fair deadlines for other parties to meet, a Director was always involved. Again making me feel very comfortable receiving their balanced professional experience presented to me for discussion with a simple decision for me then to make. In the end I had to make the decision to move my furniture out into storage before a contract of sale was signed, but I was comfortable doing it and it gave me the flexibility to now be a cash buyer for a newbuild, as my purchase chain then collapsed on the date of sale contract exchange (( THANK YOU Maddisons team and wishing you continued success in the future with your highly “differentiated” service for discerning clients; involving high quality sales preparation, a five star pro-active marketing launch and probably the most important aspect for a Seller, as it goes on the longest, the “Sales Progression” function (the tireless grind to keep on top of the real facts behind the inevitable slow progress of other parties and their professional advisers !!
