Very professional, yet friendly

I purchased my house in Winchester through Charters while living and working in London, The team was proactive and kept me informed of how the purchase was progressing between the solicitors, continuing to keep on top of things whenever the process seemed to slow down while remaining professional and personable throughout.

Buyer and Seller

Charters handled both the sales of my current property and the purchase of our new home. Throughout the process they were very good in terms of their flexibility in viewings (one of the only agents to do Sundays and evenings) and overall their communication was excellent throughout the process. Very pleased with their performance leading to completion taking place within 10 weeks of our property first being made available.

Personal, efficient and excellent service

The service and support we received during our sale was excellent. Twice the chain of transactions almost fell apart and the team were able to work quickly to ensure that everything stayed on track, even if it took longer overall. There was always a personal feel to the service and we are very happy to recommend Charters as an estate agent for sellers.

Great service, a joy to do business with.

Over the last year I have both bought and sold through Charters. They handled the sale of my property very professionally, giving me great advice and keeping me informed at all times. The Sale was agreed within a few days of the property going to market achieving a great price. Later on this year I purchased a new property which was found by Charters. They found me numerous properties that met my requirements and provided excellent service through to completion. I have and would continue to recommend most strongly their services. I would especially like to commend John for his help in valuing and getting my property ready for sale. Nony for how she handled negotiation for both my sale and purchase. Leanne for keeping everything running smoothly .

Professional and likeable lady

Victoria is professional, listens to your requirements and is very good at identifying appropriate properties. She accepts feedback well on properties and appears to have a genuine interest in her job. She worked hard to get me a viewing on a property when her diary was already full, which we really appreciated. As she was a day off on the day i wanted to put a offer in i spoke to Nony who was Ok but i would have much preferred to have done the deal wth Victoria,

The service was good but the process frustrating at times.

I do feel that it should be checked out fully that all parties have signed their contracts before pushing forward with an exchange. This caused a delay that should not have happened and could have been avoided. I know Sasha worked very hard to keep all parties happy and achieve the end result.

unique search citeria fullfilled

I have been looking for a property for the past 2+ years. Chartes have sent through a lot of properties that were not relevant and only a very few that were. Admittedly, I had very specific search criteria which were extremely hard to match. Once I built up a relationship with Nony Kerr-Smiley who eventually understood my requirements and style, more specific offers were sent through and offered by phone when new to the market. Nony found a few houses that were suitable in a market that is very samey and I have just secured a purchase on a house this week. Thank you.
