Booked a viewing for 6pm on the 2nd May 2017. After waiting for 15 minutes, we decided to give up. No phone call to let us know we wouldn't be met. If we are disappointed, goodness knows how the seller would feel not having people able to view... ***Update*** Just had a phone call to let us know there was someone at the property, waiting. Trying to make out it was us in the wrong. Terrible, terrible customer service. No apology! Absolute waste of time dealing with these agents!

Chancellors Thatcham letting department are the worst Iv ever dealt with ... tried to arrange viewings now on several properties and either they out the office or will call back and never do then when u do get through to someone the diary is full ....

This agencyin headington has been hassling me with calls for 4 months despite asking them on several occassion not to; i have never registered with them and they've obtained my details.I'm not selling a house and don't want to buy one. If i did i woud not go through them. Their tactics are appauling and if they are spending time calling likes of me then you could be wasting your fees. Have passed on complaints to leading authorties now also. Buy from elsewhere.

I rent a flat via Chancellors and I have not seen people more UNPROFESSIONAL in my whole life. They only care about taking your money at the beginning of the process and making up ridiculous excuses to keep the money of your deposit at the end. NEVER AGAIN!

Exactly our experience too. I would never ever deal with this estate agent again. Absolutely disgraceful the way they treat tenants.

Two months into marketing my flat, and Chancellors have had only 2 people view it. They "don't know why" more people are not viewing. Is it just me or should Estate Agents not know how to market a property in their area? Isn't it their job to understand the market and offer advice or some kind of a plan to target suitable buyers? They are sadly lacking in the ability (or professionalism) to get back to you on any query or even keep you basically informed - apart from sending you a weekly generated email on viewing figures from Right Move. It took me from Tuesday last week until this morning (yes, a full week) to get any kind of feedback on someone who viewed my flat despite emails and phone calls and even going into the Ascot branch (and by the way all they told me this morning finally was they hadn't got in touch!!?). They didn't even offer me any feedback on what the person said or thought at the time of viewing...I have complained and asked to speak to the Area Manager as I am clearly very worried about Chancellors ability to manage the marketing of my property and sell it. I was told he'd have to call me vs the other way around, and so they wouldn't give me his number but that he'd call me this afternoon. ....And by now sadly expected, the Area Manager didn't bother to call me either!! I mean it is totally shocking! I have no faith, belief or credibility towards them whatsoever now.

I've never experienced such poor customer service as I have with Chancellors, their communication skills and ability to value a property correctly are abysmal.

I bought a flat from chancellors. Basically had no contact from them in the 5 months the property took to complete and my emails were ignored. When the property completed they didn't have the keys to the back door. This despite the fact they had used a key to show us outside during the viewing. Liars trying to cover up the fact they had lost keys. Would use a different more professional estate agents.

Property management side of the business is poor in my opinion . Inventory had to be updated and I listed health n safety issues we had . Took from September till now and still not sorted only when I've got very nearly abusive on the phone have things began to move in the form of an email to say the contractor has been given the go ahead . Didn't think much to the tone of the smart arsed lady's attitude, who will remain nameless, the on the other end of the phone either. I think they forget they represent the landlord as well as the tenant
