Ok so you were keen on receiving a facebook review so here it is.... I think a week without heating in this house is absolutely appalling given it's the coldest November on record for 30 years... 5 people live in a house where we pay a decent amount of rent to you guys too, including a 4 year old with a very weak chest. I commend you for your quick actions last Friday in giving us 3 heaters (btw heaters use a lot on the electric and also they don't heat the whole house before you say anything as the heating does!!) but to have no resolution when in last Friday's & Tuesday's report the engineer stated it was the gas valve, so it's now a week without hot water / heating. My wife has been in tears this evening, so I want it fixed ASAP, again she took today off work as I did on Tuesday for which we won't be reimbursed... We aren't allowed to hold back rent but we are allowed (according to citizens advice) to use the rent money to fix the issue! Also you have an obligation to apply appropriate accommodation which as I've stated already that this isn't acceptable during the coldest November in 30 years!! There's 5 of us here so how do you expect 5 people to have luke warm (borderline cold) showers in this weather on top of that how do you expect us to get washing done etc I was keen not to put this on facebook but you forced my hand in taking longer than a week to get it fixed. This needs to be fixed tomorrow!!!!

Very poor service: Constantly lied to, ignored and disregarded. Nothing in comparison to other sales agents that I've used before. Would never use Chancellors again.

I rent through chancellors in Bracknell on a 3 year agreement which includes annual increases in line with RPI. This year, I received no letter or phone call to advise if/what the increase would be and given no notice on this increase whatsoever. I received a call saying that I was in arrears - Chancellors have advised that there is no obligation to tell me that my rent has increased, nor what percentage it has increased by. Apparently, Chancellors expect their tenants to research the RPI percentages each year and to use this percentage to calculate the increase based on the clauses in the rent agreement. I don't know if this is legal or not - but I do know that it is bad, unacceptable service to expect me to complete these calculations for them - a letter would have been nice but I guess their tenants aren't worth the paper.

There was only one person who helped me from the beginning to the end, she's very helpful and polite, Arabella from botley brunch. I only had one week to find a place to stay with my baby, and she made an afford to make sure that I get the house that I wanted to move in to. I'm very thankful for your help Arabella � ... Me and my baby we are settled now

The Chancellors Lettings Team in Sunningdale have been difficult for us. Initially we thought all was well, but when the time came around for the tenants to leave....we've had nothing but unresolved issues. The Sales Team washed their hands of the situation and in fact came up with all sorts of reasons why the tenants could not even be asked to clean the property. The Property Management Team were worse and gave us wrong advice on the TDA process and suggested we throw good monies after bad....and invest in legals. We're still fending off tenants' bad debts...its been a nightmare!

I was interested in some properties rang local branch for info they didn't know it and said someone would ring back but nothing tried Monday no luck again rang again this morning yep will ring back bit again nothing what a rubbish company wouldn't use them to sell my million pound home

The behaviour of some of your staff towards foreign customers is appalling. I would highly not recommend you as a fair and just estate agency. After my partner took out a rental in High Wycombe she has had a number of issues. Issue 1 - she was told that onsite parking would be available for myself to be able to park when visiting. Only now to be told that the only parking space available is for the use of builders and cleaners. Issue 2 - the advertisement for the property mentioned that wifi is available. So you'd think as student accommodation that it would be rather reliable. But no! The students within the house are now being told that the wifi is for emergency use only. Issue 3 - newly refurbished room promised from when she would be returning to High Wycombe from her home country. Upon her return no newly refurbished room. After moving into her newly refurbished room it was a bomb site on her floor nails and screws on floors and unable to access the kitchen on her floor. Issue 4 - the attitude of your staff in the High Wycombe branch to foreign customers was appalling. After over hearing a conversation between an employee and what appeared to be a landlord they mentioned how and I quote, "we're having issues with the customer as they're Polish". The welcome into the branch is not welcoming. After having all these issues with your property and company I assure you I will not be recommending your company to anyone. Students beware!

So at 19:40 the night before I get the keys for my rented flat, my girlfriend received an email to say we were missing a signature! Firstly the office has had a week to check the contract, secondly I paid £360 admin fees for this. Thirdly because of this balls up when receiving my inventory check this morning the lady had to take my keys back to the office, and not allow me to move in. No one was going to call me to tell me the situation. So now I am sat outside my new apartment, as I have had to move out of my old place with all of my stuff looking like a lemon! Thanks chancellors but you are shocking, I will let everyone I know to stay away from you!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, appalling service when trying to rent, have had over £5000 of our money signed a backdated tenancy agreement and now we've been told it's doubtful we'll get into the house tomorrow. Bit too late when we've booked a van and ended our current tenancy. Repeated attempts to contact anyone in the senior management team have been met with stony silence. Our lettings co-ordinator Zara has ignored emails and evaded answering our questions. Landlords and renters beware.

Tried to sell my flat with Chancellors. They made all the promises in the world, however in reality it seems that Chancellors would be incapable of delivering a newspaper, let alone selling a property. Total lack of communication and inability to talk to each other. Well that's 9 months of my life wasted-thanks Chancellors!
