Avoid at all costs as a tenant. Delayed our check-in date due to their own fault but at our own cost. Took months to get any repairs done. Withheld our deposit under frivalous reasons - thankfully TDS sided with us as they realised how ridiculous it was but meant it took an extra 4 and a half months to get it back at huge cost to us. Pretty much never replied to our emails. If you are dealing with Angelo, Denise, Rebecca, or Lauren, particularly avoid. Never had such a bad customer experience.

Drivers & Norris are the maintenance company for a large Block of Flats on Lee High Road London SE13 5PE. There are very steep stairs to access the individual Blocks. However they have failed to provide any railing on these stairs which is in breach of Health & Safety for the Flat Owners or Tenants, many of which are elderly residents & young children. PS URGENT Currently they are failing to provide any heating for all the Flats on the Blocks since the begining of October which is cleary a legal breach of their signed contract with the individual owners of all the Flats in Lee Court, Lee High Road, Lewisham. Meanwhile all the residents are suffering inhuman cold temperatures which are adversarly causing serious health issues on a daily basis. Drivers & Norris are not offering any satisfactory solution to rectify the issue of no heating this impending cold winter that all the occupiers will endure. The solutions or suggestions made to me were not credible & would incurr shocking additional electric heater bills abouve & beyond the high service charges the their clients already have to pay annually. If I could tell any future customer one thing, it would be to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Go somewhere else. Agreed an unfurnished property, signed the tenancy, what do I find? A furnished property. Drivers refused to acknowledge their mistake and instead told me to “find a new victim” to replace me if I want to leave the property. Is that even legal? To conclude, if you are speaking to Alex, Natasha, Denise or Lauren - USELESS. Good luck as they are so unprofessional. All they know is how to transfer calls so they don’t have to speak to you. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.

STAY AWAY!! Very misleading all they care about is who they can make their next victim!! Nobody seems to be bothered when calling and when somebody does answer they will try to fob you off saying they’ll call back. My deposit took almost a month to be returned due to staff being unwell….coincidence? I think not.

I think this says a lot, especially with the current state of the housing market. I will literally never work with driver and Norris again. When we had to move again I purposely avoided drivers and Norris even though we had to move in a very tight schedule and basically had no options. Communication skills are awful, they never get back to you even though they say they will, have to go to the office in-person to get things sorted. I noticed communication is very important, especially when it is a company like driver and Norris where people constantly come and go. For example it took us more than a month to get our deposit back and in that time our property manager who is responsible for returning our deposit back changed 3 times. They would often get very frustrated with us (the tenant) that we didn't know the situation, even though we weren't informed at all. My friend who also rented from driver and Norris at the same time didn't have a mail box key for 3 months, even though they requested it multiple times. People in the office were also not nice at all, often times we had questions and they weren't answered despite emailing them multiple times, we would then go to the office but would be communicated in a very passive-aggressive way. While renting from this company for a year, I can boldly say that nothing got sorted and communicated well. I would give less than a one star if that was possible. Do not work with this company unless you are ready for the worst.

I have been trying take last a month my holding deposit to my account. They cancelled my flat without any explanation. No call no email no communication with me and last minute I had hard situation after they got all my documents and security payment. So rude people Crouch End office.

After requesting a viewing within budget they have cancelled it for not disclosing a mortgage in principle which I don't require to view a property. They have been extremely rude on the phone- trying to argue and shouting down the phone at me. Shocking customer service, this was a first contact lasting just a few minutes on a call. It's definitely not set the tone for anyone I'd be looking to purchase a property from.
