The flat I was moved into wasn't the actual flat I viewed. It had cockroaches and mould. Belvoir didn't care and nothing was done. Worst letting agency i've ever 'dealt' with.
Its actually true what everybody is saying about this company! I attended a viewing and nobody turned up , apparently it had been cancelled but nobody told me about this. It was rearranged for the next day and this time they were 30 mins late and i had to wait in the rain. But heres the funniest bit, 30 mins later he arrives and turns out hes forgotton the keys too and the tenants werent in so had to again rearrange the viewing next day. Avoid this particular branch they are very backwards and stupid!
Do not deal with them. They do not care about their tenants. When i moved into my flat, there were somethings broken and not clean and when spoke to them they just ignored me!. I left the flat in Sep, but still until now have not received my deposit because they put some deductions after we had agreed on the deposit. Basically, dealing with this office is a waste of time and money; and do not expect any positive thing from them. I gave them one star because there is no zero star.
Hard to contact, do not respond for e-mails regarding leaving the property, actually I've got answer after 6 weeks, 6 days before due date. I made some improvements in flat I used to live: moved mirror to different room, mounted cupboard with mirror instead of it in bathroom. I put bookshelves in living room. They were ok and handy fitting in this flat, according to the contract I should remove them. To save my work fixing it, and leave some useful thing for new tenants I ask them if this can stay. They replay when I lost my hope for it and discard shelves and cupboard. They replay positive, yes you can leave it this is fine we won't charge you for that. I was furious. It least I receive all deposit.
belvoir? More like bell-ends Absolutely the worst company you will ever deal with. Unresponsive, late and incompetent. I moved in to a broken bed which was never sorted so I had to sleep on a mattress on the floor for 6 months. I had to pester for weeks on end for them to sort the TV Ariel connection coming to the flat which was non existent until it finally got sorted. I got my deposit back a month late upon leaving and they tried ripping me off by charging me for an engineer who came to fix the boiler. The staff avoid your calls and emails to the point where you have to visit in person to check they still exist. The staff are completely useless and empty in the head. Overall they are the worst company I have ever dealt with so I will never rent from them again. BE WARNED!! if you want 6 months of stress then be my guest and sign up to a flat with Belvoir...
What's the point of booking viewings if you are not going to turn up?
Very bad service, please be very careful when renting from them. Still renting a property trough them ( moving soon) and we had a lot problems when we moved in. Now it's been 10 months and they still haven't solved the issues. They owe us £200 and got call once saying that they can offer me £ 50 back.. Very unprofessional service. They wont take responsibility for they mistakes.
Tried to use belvoir manchester to view some apartments I found on zoopla and right move. I contacted them again via their website the next day and still heard nothing back. Eventually I rang up the office and after I started asking about flats they just hung up on me. Shame, because the flats looked good.
