Goodfellows have the right intentions and provide a good service, Jack who I dealt with throughout the whole purchasing process was informative and a big help. The reason for 3 stars and not 5 is the Goodfellows appointed solicitors who the sellers had, were slow, incompetent and I believe the downfall of the sale overall as it had taken 5 months almost before even talks of exchanging. I recommend if you're buying/selling a property, source a well reviewed solicitor and appoint them and not the one the estate agent will try to provide.
Could not find the top floor maisonette from your board outside this property.
Aaron has been very friendly and accommodating. very pleasant experience dealing with Aaron and GoodFellows. The fees are extortionate though. they are more than double the cost than other agents. I have edited my previous review because my experience has now changed. The fees have worked out to 60% of our monthly rent. and i believe this is extreme. Also didn't enjoy the fact that were forced into an hour long meeting with a person trying to sell us insurance. Its an invasive process and no other agents do this. Lastly, we will only get the keys to move in after 2pm, which doesnt leave us much day time to move. and they are unable to change this time to an earlier slot. which is really not fair on a family with a small child. For these reasons, i will not use GoodFellows again
Experience not very good on this occasion, They never answer the phones, when you leave a message they do not return your calls, but constantly send emails out for you to sign i was getting 3 of the same emails a day for days, until i signed without being able to speak to anyone. As i am a client of Goodfellows i do not feel that they acted in my best interest. I have been with goodfellows in morden for a lot of years and this has been the worst time dealing with them as a landlord.
Very poor customer service and aggressive sales people.
Recent sold property out. They were managing my flat for renting so charged 1.5% +vat fee instead 2%. But I realised it much higher than UK average fee. Service was fine but fee was high.
When I came to London, I wanted to hire a house around Morden. An agent from Goodfellow viewed a few houses. Even if we didn't like behave of the man, we had to rent a house so we lend it and Goodfellow was responsible for the management of the property. I faced a leaking problem which was from toilet to kitchen. Even if I informed about it to them they didn't response on time and later told me that landlord will come a week later to look into it. Image how frustrating it. After a few attempts, eventually the landlord came and figured it out.
