Useless and arrogant.

Be careful as a tenant when dealing with them and be aware that 55 walter road flat is a trap.look at the bar on top you will never enjoy sleeping and your electricity bill will be very high because the meter is not only yours there is a flat on top loaded on it that is why my meter used to run even after I switch it off.I left the flat 4 months before the end of contract and they forced me to keep paying the rent and the bills as well which was high although it was not occupied.The landlord is hidden and the meters as well .Belvoir was helpless .At the end of the contract they charged me for cleaning the mattress and fixing the garden which was basically artificial and I even did not stay in the flat .The reason that I paid because I was an academic visitor and did not want to go into trouble as a foreigner.Belvoir supports landlords but not tenants.I wasted time and money in that awful experience and I do not want anyone to go through it again.

Dear Aisha, We’re are extremely disappointed and shocked by your recent review, and feel compelled to respond. Please see our points below: 1. Can you clarify “Trap” as this insinuates that the property is dangerous? This was a recently renovated basement apartment with both front and rear private access, and also fully complied with building regulations. It also has an electrical safety and a legionella risk assessment. There is no gas at the property, so there would have been no need for a gas safety certificate. 2. Previous Tenants of the apartment never had any issues with high electricity bills. We have checked your email correspondence regarding this matter as advised you to contact the utility supplier directly, which you happily agreed to do, as you were the account holder and the bill was in your name. Unfortunately, we did not have authority to speak to the utility supplier on your behalf. 3. Your fixed term contract ran until January 2018. You notified us you wished to leave in November 2017. Rather than breaking contract early and having to cover additional fees to break contract and cover the Landlords costs, we advised you that is was more cost effective for you to see out the remaining two month of your contract. This was discussed with you face-to-face in our office and you were happy with the arrangement. It was made clear that you could vacate sooner if you wished but that you were contracted until Jan 18, and so would be liable for all your tenancy obligations until then. 4. We had an Independent, written and photographic check-out report conducted at the property when you vacated. The report showed that the mattress was stained and there was an overgrown ivy bush and extensive weeding, despite that fact that the garden/lawned area was Asto turf. You agreed to these claims, and would have been made aware that if you did not agree then you had the opportunity to use the free ADR service provided by the Deposit Protection Service. Disgusted Absolutely the worst estate agent that I have ever had to deal with. I would not have taken the property if I knowed is so difficult to deal with this agency "belvoir" . We left the house from 30 days and still no deposit returned always when we call to ask about the deposit nobody is available. We finish our contract after 3 years of tenancy with all the views (every 3 months) excellent ! The agency try to find any reason now to claim my deposit ! We left the house spotless much better like was 3 years ago and I can prove with photos and emails. Don’t have enough time left in my life to list all the reasons this agency is appalling. Rude, dishonest, disrespectful, uninformed, patronising and a disgrace. One piece of advice DO NOT USE BELVOIR !!!

Unhelpful, and misleading about a property we were very interested in renting. The person I spoke to was rude and seemed more interested in covering her own backside than helping a very keen potential customer. If a property is definitely 'No pets' then make sure this is mentioned on your website and RightMove, and stop wasting peoples' time and, in our case, money. A typical example of an agent that cares more about the landlord than the people who will actually live in the property, and pay the rent. Landlord's must accept that people have pets, and that there is a natural wear and tear from the day-to-day living of life.

Frustrating experience and bad customer service. Booked a number of viewings for rental properties and had them booked for around a week with Belvoir knowing my personal circumstances eg having a pet. No contact until the afternoon before we had the appointments booked to tell us the landlord's don't accept pets. This has happened on 2 occasions with Belvoir over a 2 week period costing us both time and money in taking the time off work to view the properties. Would have been nice to be made aware at the time of booking....

Slow and unresponsive service, more excuses than you can shake a stick. Really don't know what they do to earn their money. Avoid at all costs.
