I have rented a house from Belvoir and I am extremely unhappy with the property, would not recommend company at all. I am working full time and obviously do not have time to call them at all. Before I moved in, I have agreed with the company that there will be done a professional cleaning of the house and they will put a fence before my move in date. Nothing of the mentioned have been done, I had to do a massive drama to make a cleaning a day after and for more than a month now they cannot put a fence which means I cannot use garden. I asked them to reduce a rent for a month, until the fence is done and they simply refused. I would never recommend anyone to deal with the company.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
I had previously written a really good review for Belvoir when I first moved into the property - they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. HOWEVER, after renting with them, and having moved out of the property, I can honestly say that they are the worst estate agents that I have ever dealt with (and I have rented 10 places in 10 years, so I have some experience!). They visit your house every 3 months (which I understand from the landlords perspective), but they make you feel like it's not your home and they are extremely critical. Finally, they took over £500 of my deposit because they didn't believe that we had the place deep-cleaned (we did), and took photos of pristine fridges and other applicances claiming they weren't clean. For example, they said that our dishwasher and dryer weren't cleaned properly (we didn't use either of them once the whole time we lived there). In short, I don't recommend this company to my friends, so I wouldn't recommend it to strangers either. Go elsewhere!
Belvoir have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish in managing the rental of my home. They have kept me up to date on all progress, are always available to answer my queries & the whole process has run smoothly. There has only been one glitch to mention, which was IT related & its that I was not informed of a viewing at my property. This was raised with Belvoir & dealt with promptly. I would highly recommend their services.
Highly rude and discriminating against the disabled. Refusal to rent to people on PIP or ESA citing a clause in renter's insurance. I'm sure that's a nice and neat little loophole around discrimination laws.NegativeProfessionalism
the agency doesn’t reply to emails, the online meeting which was supposed to take place today at 3 p.m. didn’t take place, the agency doesn’t answer the phone and does not reply to messages👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻NegativeProfessionalism
Not a good collaboration! I don't recommend Belvoir for rent! They only defend the interest of the landlord.
Rude communication
