My initial experience with Belvoir! was pretty positive that was up until I agreed to use them to let my property. Communication has been appalling and as a new landlord I really needed a company to offer more support. Emails have gone unanswered even when I have raised concerns. Sadly I would not recommend them

Lived in a Belvoir property for a year and a half. The people that work in the office are very nice however sometimes it was difficult to contact them and response times were slow if people were off on annual leave. The main issue for me came with the land lord that they were representing. I had an ongoing maintenance issue from November 2023 till when I left the property in February 2024, it was never resolved. The land lord tried to hike up rent prices to pay for the cost of the repairs, which is why we ended up leaving. I also believe the land lord acted in extremely bad faith with regards to the deposit. I believe more vetting needs to be done by Belvoir to avoid these rogue land lords that they represent.

Constant miscommunication as they do not seem to read messages/ emails and as a result, relay messages to landlords incorrectly. Lack of replies, even acknowledging that emails have reached them.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Wouldn't recommend.! Poor communication they are Jokers.! Took my details to contact me waited 2 weeks, nothing when I contacted them again they said we will contact you it's been 3 months nothing, it was for renting a property so had to rush to get with other ones where the service was far better.!👎 …

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst estate agent I have dealt with. Missed out on multiple properties due to the lack of communication from the staff at the sketty branch. Viewed one property after a month of chasing for a viewing, then after a further month of trying to proceed the house was taken off the market for repairs. No communication, no replies or calls from messages left. Just nothing, finally get through to the office to be told it's off the market, we will call you if it returns to the market. Returned, no call! In December 2024 placed an enquiry for another property that had been on the market a while, been reduced also, placed multiple queries online until around mid -endJanuary, they finally called back asking for a number of details to be sent by email, returned the information the same day, no reply, I then a week later followed up with a chaser email, we are now 3 weeks on and still no reply but the house is off the market! Would not recommend this agency for anyone wanting to rent or put their house up to rent. Terrible agency!

Impossible to receive a response other than automated emails, can't even leave a voicemail. Went to the office and the lady told us she was heading out so we would have to come back without even so much as a 'hello'. Explained that we had tried contacting several times so she finally took our details with a promise to contact the following Monday. Didn't hear back again so visited later that week to ask if there was an update. While she was apologetic, she didn't remember where she had noted our contact information and wrote it down again saying there were a lot of interest in the property. We were told they would get in touch with everyone for viewings once the current tenants move out but haven't heard anything in 2 weeks. They should at least send an email to say the property has been let out but it's just radio silence. We understand demand is high and it's busy, but we've never experienced such poor service from any other estate agency. Will not be considering any properties advertised by this company as it's pointless. ***Edit: Their response to the review is unhelpful. We contacted them through every channel possible, including their forms. They talk about increased demand and coping with the influx, but haven't found this issue with other estate agents.***

As you have noted, there is an extremely high demand for rental properties at the moment. It is for this reason that we have invested in our automated systems in order to allow all applicants a reasonable opportunity to put forward their details via an online form, prior to requesting a viewing. Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to all those that have not completed the form, simply due to the volume. For those that have taken the time to complete their details, we do aim to respond either way to notify whether or not you have been successful. In addition, there sometimes can be restrictions on us getting in to view properties that are already occupied. If I could give them a 0 star review I would. Easily the worst letting agents I have ever used, had to suffer using them for 2 years with no help across the board. Rude staff that don’t give any answers, mould throughout the property that we rented which was just covered by paint before we moved in, they then refused to believe the property had any and we had to fight for 6 months to get it finally sorted, but this was only fixed after we reported this to environmental health and they finally pulled their finger out even after we told them that my partner suffers with mould related illnesses. My partner actually posted about this issue on the uplands and Brynmill community page, where you can still find the post now, even though the admin told us that belvoir tried to join this group in order to get the post removed. We were told after moving in by an agent that our landlord doesn’t respond very often, so things will take a a while, which is obviously unacceptable. We have moved out of that property 4 weeks ago today and only today been told that there will be deductions from our deposit, but still with no evidence to back up why any deductions are being made to begin with. To prove my point, the agent over the phone told us there was food debris in the sink and that they will deduct money for this, attached is the picture they’ve used to say there is debris. I hope people are actually reading this and they never chose to use belvoir as an agents, because I know I won’t,
