Maddisons launched the property on a tight deadline with an open day as requested and secured us a buyer relatively quickly. The buyer was very specific and constantly wanted to move the goal posts which Maddisons dealt with effectively.

We all know that estate agents don't have the best reputation but Maddisons show what this industry should really be like. They are nothing short of amazing. Every single member of the team works genuinely hard to make the house moving process as smooth as possible. We had a very challenging property to sell and had originally listed our property with one of the large national agents who told us we needed a company with London offices to attract out of town buyers. As it turns out they made no progress. As soon as we instructed Maddisons things started moving. Their customer service was exemplary and they appreciated how intrusive and stressful house selling can be. They completely owned the process and took all the worry and concern away from us. From a house that had been on the market with no offers prior to Maddisons they managed to secure several buyer and the sale went to sealed bids. Even after we secured a sale they continued to work incredibly hard every step of the way. I am under no doubt that if we had been with any other agent the sale would have fallen through, but their expert management kept everything on track. There are not many things or people I would wholehearted recommend but I do not even need a second to consider recommending Maddisons. It has always been our experience that personal recommendations are usually the best introduction. We had been impressed by two friends, separate, accounts of Maddisons. Both had suffered at the hands of big national brands and had decided to give a ‘ maller' outfit a go and glad they did. Their accounts were so impressive, they were surely too good to be true. We had nothing to lose by meeting with Maddisons and hear what they had to say. We were immediately impressed by their enthusiasm, straight talking, refreshing and sometimes candid advice, all combined with their impressive track record. From the moment we handed them the keys to our home they never missed a beat. Accurate valuation, amazing photography and styling, constant updates and reviews, features in local papers. All whilst, dealing with friendly staff who actually seemed to care (and listen). It’s worth adding, that from their excellent photography and styling creating such an irresistible offer, a passing journalist’s head was turned by their shop window and our loving home was subsequently featured in an edition of “25 Beautiful Homes”. We can't speak highly enough of Deborah and her team and have been singing their praises ever since. From the start to the finish our experience of Maddisons was exceptional. Honest opinion and pricing, fabulous photos and marketing which enabled us to gain an offer very quickly in a difficult market. But the real value is in their service once the offer is in place and despite a very difficult chain which almost collapsed a few times they kept everything going and eventually we sold the house and moved. My partner and I had been looking at properties around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells for a couple of months. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, we've received weekly updates throughout the sales process (which, as first-time buyers, has been incredibly reassuring), and emails/phone calls have been answered swiftly and accurately. Based on the service we've received here, there isn't any other agency that I would consider listing with when we decide that it's time to sell and move to a new property (although, given how stressful moving can be, I hope they don't mind if it isn't for quite a while yet ;))
It was so refreshing to actually receive clear, informative advice throughout the process of my house sale.
