Been trying to ring daily for a few weeks - no answer, obviously not interested in business
Poor experience trying to view a property with these estate agents. They either don’t contact you back after they’ve cancelled to rearrange a new viewing or don’t contact you at all. Every other estate agent contact you as soon as they can and if you can’t make a date they re-arrange one you can . I was cancelled a viewing and offered a new date. I replied saying I couldnt do that date was there any other dates available - no response. They clearly don’t want to sell your property. Response times are tragic and you’re the ones chasing a reply.
Selfish, Uncaring, Disgraceful service. I told the estate agent, Astrid, that before I undertook my 5 hour journey from Kent to Cardiff, paid for hotel and take 2 days off work that: “My daughter is ill so going away is a problem, so I can only do so if it’s essential.” When I was outside the property, she rang to say that the tenant had gone away and that she could not show me the flat. Either extremely naive or I think just appalling. She should have known that the tenant had nothing to gain from the viewing and made extra special efforts to ensure that my viewing would go ahead. To add salt into an already open and bleeding wound, Astrid started talking about how it inconvenienced her also. Incomparable as her journey from the office to the property was only 7 minutes. And all on her time as an employee not her personal time nor expense. She refused to meet me at the property rather than just discuss this with me stuck on the street over the phone. Not unreasonably, I used an expletive and put the phone down.
LANDLORDS AVOID AT ALL COST My experience with this company has been disgraceful. These agents do not seem to understand simple lettings processes such as protecting deposits. If you have a tenancy with Martin and Co I would check your deposits has been protected lawfully! Shocking as landlords pay alot of money for this service and it is not being delivered to them impacting on them finically within tenancies. If you want a proper management service i would look else where!!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! I have had a lovely and peaceful tenancy for the last 9 years then these awful people took over and its been nothing but stress and anxiety. They haven't a clue about tenancy rights or dealing with people. Horrendous customer service.
Awful communication. Had to call 20/30 times over a few days before I got an answer then they eventually managed to schedule a viewing. Agent was going to call me that afternoon to proceed but call never came. Left messages and had no answer again then emailed 3 days later and got an out of office for 2 weeks notification. Don’t waste your time.
Probably the worst letting agency and staff I’ve ever dealt with. What letting agency do you physically contact for nearly 6 months (phone calls and emails) but they’re so incompetent they can’t give you back your deposit and then charge you for issues that were actually never fixed for a year because they couldn’t be bothered? If you want a decent letting agency that won’t lie to you and try rob you, I would go elsewhere! So pathetic!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
A very unprofessional service I have been waiting for over 2 weeks for a viewing. No one answers or responds to calls I was promised a viewing provided details as requested on the 6th June. Today 20th June I get a email response the landlord has decided to go with another tenant. I will never use this estate agent again waste of time.
I don’t even give a star may be I will take all the star out if I get a chance and they don’t even worth it. From day one I started renting a flat with them in Cardiff I had issues. I gave a complaint many time and the property was not clean when I initially moved IN and boiler was not working well and gave a complaint. They said the property was cleaned and sanitised by professionals but it was not and later as date moved on boiler stopped working and it took more than two weeks for them to look at it and gave a compliant through citizen advice through the solicitor and next day they came and changed the boiler. When I gave a complain regarding the boiler issue and I had below response from the manager how harsh “If you are cold you are free to buy yourself portable electric heaters, you can have them delivered by Amazon” I vacated the property in a Crystal clean state and now it’s been more than 8 weeks I’ve not received my deposit back. I’ve raised the statuary declaration for DPS to get involved. So think more than twice before rent property from martin and co Cardiff. I have proof off all the emails which they sent us and photos of the property.
