I am a first time buyer for property purchase in London. Since the viewing of property to completion, the whole process is smooth with Ben and team's responsive help. At the beginning before I offered, Ben and team helped me to seek owner's reply to my queries about the house condition and history. In the middle of the process, Ben helped to monitor the process professionally in order to ensure the issue kept rolling smoothly by all relevant parties. Also, at the final stage of contract exchange and completion, Ben and team put great effort to push the issue and end up it got through within the target period of timeline. Because the completion is before end of June, I can save a lot of Stamp Duty within the Stamp Duty Holiday. As an overseas buyer, I have commissioned John Payne to take up the full management and letting services job for my house. Our agent (Sue) was at all times highly professional yet very personable. From handling the initial sale of the property through to the exchange of contracts she was always there to help and seemed to be always on hand to answer any questions we had. She even took time to drive a contract to one of the solicitors in person to ensure exchange happened on time rather than rely on the post. Can't recommend highly enough.

My house found a buyer quickly however there was a lot of follow through that needed to happen after that point and Sue Denny did a fantastic job with that. There was a fairly complex lease situation with a lot of back and forth between lawyers which Sue kept track of - always responding quickly, clearly having a good understanding of what needed to be done next. She was efficient and always amenable to taking care of details. I had a great experience with John Payne East Greenwich as a first time buyer, I worked with their Sales agent Susan Denny who was so professional and patient to guide me through the process and bear with all the basic questions I had to ask. Sue Denny was absolutely fantastic with helping me all the way through the tricky sale of my flat (cladding issues & a completion date that fell through the first time). She was personable, responsive and always kept me up to date with the progress. Sue ended up being the main point person to chase both solicitors who weren’t very responsive, and had great knowledge of what was happening with other flats in the same block. When I needed to get in touch with someone at John Payne, they always answered or emailed back within a few hours. We had taken a property on rent through John Payne and had a good 2 years at the same place. John Payne had been professional right from the start. They were extremely responsive and explained to us the process that we would need to follow upfront. This put us at ease as we knew exactly what to expect and when, especially since this was our first time renting in the UK. Once we moved in, the property management team took over seamlessly. Our property manager, Katherine Bailey, was extremely helpful and responsive, even during these covid times. During our move out, Katherine was very professional in ensuring we are kept well informed and in a timely manner, while understanding our situation and suggesting the best option to help us out. Ben at John Payne was my main contact during the process to sell my flat and was fantastic throughout the whole process. The sale involved a complicated chain which meant Ben having to go above and beyond to secure exchange and completion. Susan Denny helped us purchase in East Greenwich. She spent the time getting to know us and the requirements we had, she then found us a property within weeks that we purchased before it even went live on the market! The best part about working with Sue is her knowledge of the local market, she was able to offer us consultative advice on the market prices depending on different property specs! If you’re looking to purchase in East Greenwich, I’d only work with John Payne, as they firmly have the monopoly of houses in East Greenwich, they can offer true consultative advice on your purchase and give you access to property’s that other estate agents can’t! I would also only recommend working with Susan Denny if you’re looking for a house in this area, based on her market knowledge and relationship she has with local sellers, therefore ensuring you run the best possible chance to get the house of your dreams.
