Very dissappointed with this company, after being in one of their flats for over a year, and our problems started from the very first day we signed off, crew very nice until then, afterwards the story is different. Promises done verbally were not finally carried out because "is not written on contract", abusive T&Cs that make you to pay for everything. Flat passed over to us dirty, we had to add an extra page to explain condition of accommodation on check-in, which was left very clean on check-out and even though we had to pay a cleaning fare... shameless being working in that place, I wish read comments before sign any contract with them

Having lived in rental accommodation for the last tens years in Manchester I can say Martin and Co. are comfortably the worst agency I've ever dealt with. Don't get back to you for really simple queries, always feel like you're bothering them and they gave permission to a repair team to gain entry to the flat without prior consent from me to mention a few things. Avoid these clowns.

This would be a zero rating if it was possible. The best advice I can give is do NOT rent through this company. I have never experienced worse customer service than I have with Martin & Co Manchester Central. They will tell you everything you want to hear when you are viewing a property and make all the promises under the sun. When it comes to moving in day and they need to deliver on those promises it does not happen. I advised them the earliest I could possibly move in was on the 1st of the month, I was told this was fine. The agent wrongly advised the Landlord that I would move in on the previous day and then asked me if I could possibly move in a day early. Not that moving isn't already stressful enough I had already said I couldn't do any earlier. Then after signing an agreement and an inventory, we realised we were given an inventory for a completely different property. I was then contacted 2 days later to advise they had given me the wrong type of contract and I needed to sign another one. So I went in on my birthday to just get it sorted. I had asked them before I moved in to ask the landlord to remove one of the beds. I was told this wouldn't be an issue at all. When I spoke to the Landlord he had no knowledge of this and had nowhere to put the bed. I contacted the office again and the agent then offered to take the bed which I was relieved about. I was told I'd be contacted in about a week to take it away. 2 months later I still have the bed taking up space I really need. Finally, the last straw was today when I had an important application to send off and needed my tenancy agreement. I called Martin & Co twice asking them to email my agreement to me, as they hadn't bothered to do this 2 months ago after the first mistake. I explained I needed it by 3:30 as I needed to catch the post. Did I receive it? No. So now I have missed my application deadline thanks to this company. I love my apartment, and my landlord is great, but I deeply regret having gone through Martin & Co to get this place.
