Hi could you please email me with your feedback so we can understand your review
Ex Staff Member. What I have to say about the Stirling Branch. Landlords: Charges your account one price for repairs, but pays contractors substantially less, taking a cut for them self. Always looking to squeeze every penny. Tenants: Withheld "holding fees" if referencing failed, would withdraw any excess money a tenant had paid if unchallenged for themselves. Raised rents to bully tenants on. Potential Staff Members: Would not pay a legal salary, bonuses not paid or withdrawn with no notice. It is an all new team for a very good reason. In response to the reply: "Dear Gavin, This team are professional and honest. Our landlord TOB are applied to the letter, and I believe you have not worked here for some time, so a little unfair to comment." Dear Imtiaz, Landlord terms of business state 10%. I have seen invoices where 50+% were applied like Gas Safety Certificates, PAT certificates and other items. I worked for 2 years and had left 6 months prior to that review going up. No comment on the other items raised. Comments seem both accurate and fair, and I have no doubt many other ex members of staff would fully agree with it. It is an honest review and you are fully aware of that.
This last May, I phoned to enquire if they had any viewings I could attend. I was asked for my name and when I gave it the employee I spoke to said in a very snarky tone “who spell’s their name like that?” I responded in a very polite tone that it is because my full name is hard to spell for people in the UK, then I gave her my last name which I spelled out to her because again, my name is foreign. I tried my best to be friendly to her and make small talk, as I know what its like to work in the service industry and how awful it can be. So I make a point to be kind to those who work in jobs that deal with other people. She then asked me where I was getting my money from, I told her and she continued by asking how much my boyfriend (who I was looking for a flat with) makes in a year. I didn’t know and told her so, she said in a very condescending tone, “oh well then we can’t help you.” No suggestion of maybe asking him and phoning back. It seemed as though I was too ‘foreign’ to rely on being able to make payments and that she didn’t want my money. This experience the was appalling. I considered just writing a negative review but decided to actually go to their office in Stirling. I spoke to who I assume was a manager and told her about my experience and how I felt that the woman I spoke to on the phone must just have been having a bad day, maybe she needed a break or some time off. The manager told me I would receive a written apology to my email address and also news on any new lettings available. To this day I still haven’t heard from them. While I didn’t need an apology, it would have made me feel as though the company actually cared about customer service. Now I feel as though being rude wasn’t just a mistake made by one employee who was having a bad day, this is something that the company condones. Yeah and my foreign money is going to someone else now.
AVOID. I lived in a Martin and Co property for two years and had nothing but trouble. Almost lost our new property too because they are so completely incompetent. Phoning every day for weeks to chase things up with them and they only answer the phone if you select the option for inquiring about a new property - once they've got you in they really couldn't care less.

I wanted them to act as property managers and lease out my property but they are absolutely hopeless money grabbers.
Wouldn’t deal with this company, incompetent and not a reliable service.
