Absolute nightmare trying to get your deposit back from this company, they will try anything! They are doing the exact same thing to our neighbour as they did to us, try to get money for cleaning even though we left the place cleaner than when we moved in and then accusing us of staying an extra day and trying to charge one days rent! Disgusting.
We are currently renting a property in London via Paramount. Earlier this evening, around 9, somebody smashed our front window with a big rock, the police came and called Paramount on our behalf requiring the window to be fixed urgently, at least boarded. It is 1 a.m. and after multiple phone calls, Paramount has not sent anybody, our window is wide open, on the lower ground floor, whoever fancies getting in can easily do it, the police has told Paramount we were not safe. Our son is scared and does not want to go to bed, it is hard for us to be reassuring when we are going to have to stay up all night to make sure nobody gets into our property. Paramount is not sending anybody to board the window but does not want to pay for a hotel either. We are so upset and angry at this situation that we wish we could move straight away. Paramount is very good for the renting process but a complete letdown when you have a serious problem. Never thought such a situation could happen renting privately through a reputable estate agent, all the more disappointed that I had left 5 stars feedback when we moved in. Update at 8 the next morning : we have stayed up all night, nobody came to fix or board our window, the worst night ever.
I saw a studio flat as soon as it was advertised and sent an enquire through the website to arrange a viewing. Within 3 days I sent them 3 enquires (and completed the forms) and I even called them to express my interest and request a property viewing (that makes 4 enquires in total). They never came back to me. Studio flat was obviously rented and out of the market. Terrible customer service and highly unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them.

Terrible service from Paramount. Our agent was extremely friendly and accommodating right up until we submitted our offer, then we heard nothing at all. He ignored my calls, texts, and I could only eventually get through to him by calling the front desk and asking to send a message on. Soon after we put the offer in the flat after he said we’d be sure to get it, became ‘let agreed’ on the website. Don’t waste your time with this agency. They just lie to fit their own personal quota of number of viewings/offers received then they don’t care about you anymore. They sell themselves as being different from other lettings agents but to be honest they are just worse.
If I could give less than one star I would. Absolutely appalling customer service. Booked in for viewings after trying for days to get a hold of someone. Then kept cancelling them when I was at the property. Unbelievable
