Awful treatment from Belvoir. Belvoir are charging multiple parties holding fees for the same rental properties at the same time which goes against the Tenancy Rights Act. We were the first party to pay a holding fee and without taking us through any of the vetting process we had our holding fee refunded the next morning and we were told the landlord went with the other couple who had also paid a holding fee. We were told it’s normal practice to take multiple holding fees for the same property (it isn’t). I spoke to the director Phil who was dismissive, rude, and argumentative when I questioned him about what is going on. I will be reporting to trading standard.
Absolutely disgusting, vile human beings if you are a tenant My rental experience in that ludgershall good for nothing property cost me more that over £400 deductions, it caused a mental health breakdown infront of my son, not that they cared more concerned about cashing the little profit they got from owners at my expense. Thankfully i will never have to rent again. They forget which hand feeds them, i hope that branch get closed, if not covid challenges let it be through complaints!!

I am still wondering what was wrong with us as they never got back to us all the time we placed a query via your market neither zoopla or directly. First I thought that it was the way decided to deal with quesier during lock down, then , there was a huge difference between how this agency dealt with us and the one in Basingstoke. We could not arrange any house view with this agency even if we sent a couple of emails. With the Basingstoke one, for example, they called back, they book appointment and they gave us suggestion. Simply they did not get back to us, or they disappeared at the second email sent. I have no clue what was going on. Then we gave up. I am still wondering..NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
Terrible experience with Belvoir - avoid if possible! My partner & I were planning on relocating to the area, and had a viewing booked - which was a 3 hour round trip and we took a day off of work to go and view the property. After waiting 10 minutes at the property, we called the branch to which a rude member of staff told us they had emailed, text, called and left a voicemail to cancel the viewing. - We "conveniently" didn't receive these forms of communications, despite us never having issues receiving their calls, texts or emails. Unprofessional all round.
Inept, ignorant Tried to arrange a viewing for a property... emails, phone calls, voicemails - complete lack of response over the course of a few weeks. Clearly, these omissions were a sign you didn't want comissions. Although one centrally-located representative did make an effort, the Andover office clearly didn't feel like raising their game to her level. If you'd have actually bothered to even respond to one of my communications, that would have been the professional thing to do wouldn't it? I wouldn't be here posting the facts of the matter, now would I? Your website tagline reads "Property professionals for more than 20 years" Yeah, I get it, it's the lockdown, people are working from home, things are very different - adapt, deal with it and live up to your claim of being professionals.
Belvoir Lettings....what an absolute rip off £114 move out admin fee deducted from my deposit!!!!! after paying a fortune to move into a flat that had obviously not had a professional clean (the toilet was disgusting and took me weeks to get clean) but had to prove I had had a professional clean done on leaving!!! The carpets were "beyond the end of their life" according to the carpet cleaning man and it had holes in the stair carpet, possible health and safety risk but they wouldn't replace and also they put new heaters in but never came back and made good the walls after....would never use again or let anyone i know use either The photos show the condition of the flat on the day I moved in, Belvoir seem to think it's acceptable. when ever I complained they would say "it was like that when you viewed"! and " the previous tenant never complained ( she did apparently for the last 3 years of her 8 year tenure). Well the walls weren't as they put the heaters in a week after I moved in and the carpet was so bad I assumed ( wrongly) that they would be replaced. They did repair the light fitting eventually.

Do Not Use. Please be warned that the owners of this franchise are dishonest and deceitful. I asked Belvoir to sell some property with tenants in situ. The manager and Directors of the franchise I made it absolutely clear that I would only sell to a landlord who wanted a long term investment complete with tenants as I wanted my tenants to be secure in their homes. Belvoir Andover manager and directors offered to buy the properties themselves, promising they were building up a portfolio of long term tenants in Buy To Let properties. I trusted Bevoir. BIG MISTAKE. They were the most inefficient estate agents i have ever dealt with, the sale took months rather than weeks. Then just a couple of weeks after completion they served eviction notices on both tenants. Owners of the franchise, who make all sorts of claims about all franchisees offering the same professional service on their website were not interested. Using Belvoir Andover was the worst property mistake I have ever made.
