Currently selling our house through Brockenhurst Estate Agents. Met and spoke to several of the team now regarding our own property and during viewings of other properties. Probably some of the best we’ve had to deal with. All very friendly, professional and great to work with. Feel like we’re in good hands.
Brockenhurst were great from starting the journey to sell our home, all the way through to exchanging contracts. They kept us updated constantly and were easy to get hold of if we had any queries. Would really recommend using them for anyone looking to move home. We would do so again.
We decided to sell through Brockenhurst due to how friendly and helpful Matt and the team were. The first week or so we had great communication setting up photos, viewings, up to the point of offer. Sadly after we accepted an offer the communication drifted off. I would have to chase several times to get answers or information hadn't been passed to myself. Bayleigh had been our negotiator and would promise call backs and they wouldn't happen, I would chase in our WhatsApp group but I'd find it easier going directly to Matt and Sarah by calling Brocknhurst directly. Overall our experience was fine Matt and Sarah are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, however we did feel slightly disappointed by being left in the dark at times where things hadn't been communicated to us and I felt like I was the one always pushing for info.
I recently reviewed 2 properties with the team and on each occasions they were very professional they immediately confirmed the appointments and sent reminders. During each viewing they were very courteous, attentive and keen to fully understand my needs in order they could ensure that they were met. On one of the viewings they were very tolerant and patient because I was running 15 minutes late but that did not phase them at all.
Awful service, will say anything to get a sale.
I booked a viewing appointment..I was already at the property and I got the call saying that the booking had to be cancelled. Very disappointing
Hi. So very disappointed with this letting agent named Keiren. He was 10 min late, parked his car like he does not care if its in the way. He had dinner on his shirt and after he opened the door of the property we were just about to see. The smell of wee just completely changed our mind and decided we are not going yo seee any more further. What a horrible experience 😞
Poor customer service, came all the way to view a property and the visit was cancelled due to an offer accepted on that day, fair enough. However, property back on the market 3 days later, so they call and see if I want to come back, but no apology or even acknowledgement of the inconvenience and waste of our time.
Complacency at its best! Following the acceptance of the offer there was no outbound communication, no progression and no reassurance that everything was moving along, if it were not for the estate agency we were selling through we would not have a clue what was happening or have been in our new home before Christmas. It started off badly and then got worse, approximately a month after our offer being accepted our new home was listed as their property of the month which was rather alarming; following that no outbound correspondence from the moment the offer was accepted. The icing on the cake was all of the offices being closed on the day of exchange, luckily the old owners were still in the property or we would have incurred additional stress and costs for storage and a hotel as we would not have been able to get the keys. In the day our contracts exchanged it took Brockenhurst two and a half hours to inform us of the good news which again the estate agents we were selling through and solicitors had informed us. When we were called on day of completion as the offices were closed we were assured a personal visit the following day, at 5pm no visit and no phone call to their office to be assured we would have been visited later in the evening! As an apology Matt has put £50 behind the local bar, a gesture that although appreciated is to little to late, for a purchase of this scale you would expect an estate agent to do anything bad the bare minimum. Unfortunately when buying a house you can not choose who you buy from but would recommend to anyone if at all possible give Brockenhurst a wide berth, if your selling there are much better agents in town who will look after both you and your buyers and ensure the process goes smoothly...
