Terrible agency. 1 star is too many for them. I am a landlord in the Southwest and thus have some experience with agents from both sides as it were. My wife and I were living in Coventry for 18 months and hence renting. Everything with Whitegates was too much trouble. Everything came with an administration charge. The check-in and check-out documentation was inaccurate. Ultimately Whitegates with discourteous and very much gave the impression that they didn't like tenants. Avoid if you can.

They were terrible, not only did I pay £60 per month for what I thought was a fully managed serves, only for them to sit on their back sides and do nothing whilst I did all the work, but the staff were abusive and insulting to me and my tenants, they refused to help out in even the simplest situations and they couldn't even manage to get the agreement right. When I tried to complain I was told that my concerns were merely "Ridiculous diatribes" they NEVER admit when they are wrong and took thousands from me. I tried to get my money back but was told that it was my own fault they got it wrong. DO NOT USE WHITEGATES EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly one of if not the worst agency I have dealt with, SOME of the representatives are extremely rude, uncooperative and hands down just disregard any information I have given that should have been forwarded to the landlord. Id very much advise NOT to try and make a deal with this agency as soo youll find out they dont actually care about the service they provide and would only like to suck the money out of you dry. This coming from 2 people which didnt have money issues at all.
