Speak to there tenants with complete disregard and good luck getting repairs done

I am sorry that any issue you have had is not being dealt with as you would like. I can assure you we work hard to resolve all issues as quickly as possible however some are out of our direct control which we understand can be frustrating. It would be helpful if you called the office and spoke to us about your frustrations as this post doesn't highlight who you are, as I am sure we can work together to get them resolved. Waited nearly 20 minutes for the agent to turn up, then left. Not even a phone call to let us know if they were running late, time wasters!!!!!

Charlie, we are very sorry my colleague believed the appointment was at 5.45pm not 5.30pm which was a complete error on our part. I am so sorry you had to wait, when my colleague arrived the neighbour told us you had just left. We have tried to call you and email you to sincerely apologise for our error. We are happy to conduct another viewing for you at any time that is convenient to you. We pride ourselves on being early not just on time so we are disappointed that this has happened.

Criminals - Avoid at all costs. Very un-proffesional and will fabricate costs and services that never existed to change for.

We are always happy to receive reviews, good or bad. We are not perfect and we use constructive criticism to improve our service. Unfortunately malicious reviews do nothing to help us or other users. We have no record of you as a client or even a prospective client of our company however if it is a coincidence that you share your name with a character from a TV sitcom and you would like to contact us to discuss any genuine issue we will of course look into it. Reviews on allagents and rateragent may give other users a more balanced view of our service.

We find the staff to be very inefficient, uninterested and ineffective. If you manage to speak with the branch manager you get the same response. They leave repairs such as leaks, damp, broken fridges and broken boilers to worsen, they patronise and charge you for anything they can muster up. They say one thing and do the opposite. They insist on inspections despite the fact you've paid the deposit, they have issue with everything such as hanging pictures and gardening yet they don't help with urgent matters. They patronise with remarks such as "we'll speak to your husband" or "we've already discussed the matter with your husband", "perhaps you should confer with Mr..." We would advise everyone to avoid this place and save yourself a headache and the extra cash they swindle. Avoid!

Do not pay their admin fees if you have a zero hours contract. There is no option to state pro rata earnings on their electronic forms and they ripped me off £200 just before Christmas. Avoid!

DO NOT USE THEM! Shockingly bad service from Northwood, went to view a property, was told it was available and that if we were interested to send the application back asap. Which we did, on the day we received it! Even chased it the next day, anyway, a couple of days later I called them only to be told by Kady that it had been given to someone else! Bearing in mind she was the one who emailed us initially to say it was available. It's obvious that they were using us a back up plan. We were told we could pay a fee to reserve it, which we were willing to pay, we acted fast, got our references and payslips together super quick on the understanding we were going to get it. There was no communication from when we made the application. Absolutely horrified!

I am sorry you have miss understood how the application process works. Whilst we sent you out an application to fill in until its completed and the landlord has approved the application the property remains on the market, it is not yours just because you have put an application in. No Money has been taken as no application has been approved and the property was not removed from the market. We use an automated system to carry out the referencing however for some reason we were not sent notifications that your application was filled in. We very much apologise about this and we will be speaking to the provider of the system to understand why this error occurred. Having looked at the application that was submitted there was some issues that means that the landlord would not have approved to proceed. This of course does not excuse the lack of communication which again we apologise for. I wish you all the best to find your new home.

My father had worst experience ever that bad he had grounds to end contract and was promised the earth lost bank details even when they got them a second time withheld payment after tenant paid keep away there cowboys

WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED!! Previous tenant of a flat Northwood managed. Ignored all emails of repair work needing carried out including condensation, broken windows, damp, mould etc. A member of their staff allowed themselves into the property when they believed it to be empty. Only I happened to be in the bath, heavily pregnant when I caught this member of staff snooping. When it comes to checking out, they split hairs to gain as much deposit as possible, however no issues were raised on monthly inspections. Needed persistent nagging to provide me with a replacement smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector. Found staff to be very unprofessional and condescending and will be avoiding Northwood like the plague. IN REPLY TO NORTHWOODS REPLY... Yes, I did receive an email from yourselves to inspect the property in January 2017, I however cancelled this appointment 11 days before a member of your staff allowed herself in to the property which she believed to be empty and began snooping around. (All members of your staff were aware that this appointment had been cancelled) As for the help we received upon checking out, this was minimal if any. I got a patronising and snobby attitude from the branch manager of all people. Its a shame the interest which was shown to the property when we checked out, wasn't shown throughout our tenancy. But of course, when there is a considerable amount of money involved, hairs were most certainly split.

I am sorry you felt the need to leave this review but In order to help other google users it may be of value to point out that any visit to a property is notified in advance and you are right to say we had no concerns following inspections. We do not gain from deposits, as this dealt with by an independent government backed scheme designed to protect the tenant in these matters. We would rather return all the deposit as claims cause a great deal of work for us but we must protect the landlords interest as well. We are disappointed by the remarks you have left given the help the staff gave you when you were moving out but you can rest assured that we take complains very seriously and will deal with all your accusations in the proper manner.
